Happy Birthday Ash

I’ve been wanting to create one of these cards for some time now.  I actually have 2 more sitting on my desk waiting to be finished, but have only gotten so far with each & that seems to be it.  I’ve surprised myself that I have actually finished this one, as it was the 3rd 010bb-blogon the desk waiting, waiting, patiently waiting.  This card is for my niece who celebrated her 10th birthday in the middle of the month.

I don’t watch You Tube – I seem to get very side tracked so it is off my list.  However in saying that, I saw this one by Tanya which will fit into the Aust C6 Envelope.

I’ve used the Balloons, Party Hat & Cake from “Sketched Birthday” Stamp Set.  I stamped 3 x Balloons in Primrose Petals, 3 x Gumball Green & 3 x So Saffron before fussy cutting & adhering to card.  The Party Hats were stamped using the same colours, fussy cut & adhered to the card sides. The cake was stamped in Primrose Petals.  I did colour it, but decided I didn’t like it, restamped it, fussy cut & attached to card as it is.  Much better.

What birthday is complete without Candles?  So I stamped 3 x Candles – 1 x Primrose Petals, 1 x Gumball Green & 1 x So Saffron.  This image is from “Cycle Celebration” stamp set.  I used the greeting/sentiment from the same set, which I stamp once in Gumball Green & a second time in Primrose Petals.  I punched the Primrose Petals with the Oval Punch & adhered to the top of the Gumball 013bb-blogGreen one  which was punched with the Decorative Label Punch & adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The “10” is from the “Memorable Moments” Stamp Set which have been stamped in Primrose Petals, fussy cut, adhered to the Whisper White Circle punched using the 1″ Circle Punch & adhered to a piece of So Saffron which has been punched with the 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch prior to adhering to back of card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you liked your card Ash & you had a great day!

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Vicky
