Stamp ‘N Hop December Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Welcome to the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop for December where it is all about Christmas!

We are a group of SU! Demos from all over the world sharing our love of Stampin’ Up!  Feel free to join us if you like, but we do ask that you be a current SU! Demo & that you use current SU! products.

You may have arrived from Mo’s blog where she shared her lovely creation.  If you are starting from my blog, all you have to do is click on the Blog Roll below in case you get lost!

As December is always full on, it is a very short hop this month.  All the same, I’m sure you will find inspiration for your Christmas projects.

I’ve been creating my Christmas Cards with an Australian feel about them.  Not necessarily all the same but same layout with different stamp sets which I will be sharing over the next few days.  It isn’t often that I create multiples of the same card but I love this layout & I love this stamp set!

My cards today have been created with one of my favourite layouts which I think is quick & easy!  I’ve used the 2022-2024 In Colour DSP to create them along with the Sunkissed Stamp Set from the current Mini Catalogue.  This fun set will no longer be available once the Mini finishes.  Shop for this set NOW.

The Stampin’ Write Markers of Tahitian Tide, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake & Old Olive were used to colour the image prior to huffing & then stamping onto the die cut stitched rectangle.

The cards were completed by randomly adding Pearlescent White Elegant Faceted Gems to the card front.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  Next up is Vickie.  If you get lost, be sure to click on the very short Roll Call below.  Please share a little love by leaving comments as you visit.  I know they would appreciate it.

Vintage Christmas & Mystery Stamping

G’Day Friends,

Yesterday we did a little bit of Mystery Stamping as we hadn’t done any for some time.

I took the clues from a card I had created a week or so ago & went with it.

The Cardstock is Evening Evergreen while the Ink is Crumb Cake & Cherry Cobbler.

The paper is the lovely Lights Aglow Specialty 6 x 6 from the current Mini Catalogue.

It has been finished off with the Festive Pearls also from the current Mini Catalogue.

Inspirations in Ink July Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for dropping by & welcome to our monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop.

We’re a small group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world who come together each month to showcase a theme & share inspiration for you to create.

You may be starting with me, Vicky Wright Australia or have come from Theresa’s blog where she shared her lovely project.  Don’t forget you can visit all the other blogs on today’s hop by clicking on the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post.

Our theme this month is Christmas in July.  This is the chance to make a start on your Christmas cards ready to post the end of November, early Decemeber.

As our July Mega PDF Tutorial Bundle is all about the gorgeous Splendid Day Suite, I challenged myself to create a Christmas card with this Collection.  In fact, after doing this one, lots of ideas have popped into my mind so who knows you could be seeing more Christmas cards with this Suite or even mixed with a little of this & a little of that.

I decided to keep my layout fairly simple with a little random stamping with Sahara Sand & Soft Sea Foam Inks.  This layer was then layered onto Sahara Sand & the to a Soft Sea Foam Base Card.

The sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts, stamped wth Sahara Sand Ink before being die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

If you live in Australia, click on the photo below to purchase this Suite.  Don’t forget to use the July Host Code – HXQEXPCS –  if your order is under $250.

  • All orders receive a Handmade Card & a PDF Tutorial.
  • Orders over $50 receive a Handmade Card plus an exclusive Inspirations in Ink PDF Tutorial Bundle.

Splendid Day Suite = $145.75

Spendid Day Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!

G’Day Friends,

With the weather the way it has been this week, it has been the perfect time to just sit & craft, too wet & cold to get out in the garden.

My little dog has not been getting out of bed until about 9ish, when we go for our walk, she has brekkie & retires back to bed until about 2ish & then it is time for another walk.

I’ve been playing with the gorgeous Splendid Day Suite from the new Mini & wow, are you going to love creating with it too!   It’s simply stunning & perfect for all occasions.

I actually did a live for this card yesterday showing how to use your scraps of DSP.  Mind you it completely turned out different to what I had in mind as it just didn’t go to plan – my part – but we battled on & got there in the end.  It is probably a great design to complete your half finished projects too.

I am loving the fact that you are able to stamp on the opposite side of the foil sheets, which is exactly what I did here.

I will be honest & say that the image was going to be coloured with Stampin’ Blends but after the disaster of the chopping the DSP, I thought better not to push my luck lol.  If you watch the video, you will see why.
