Pretty Peacock Day #3

G’Day Friends,

Today is the last day of showcasing the lovely Pretty Peacock 2019-2021 In Colour.  I do hope you are enjoying the cards I’ve been creating with these In Colours over the past few weeks.

I’ve combined the “old”, so to speak, with the “new” for today’s share.  Enjoy Every Moment Stamp Set is from the 2021 Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue.

The more I use this set, the more I am loving it.  So much potential.

I randomly stamped 4 images from Enjoy Every Moment Stamp Set onto 4 x squares in Old Olive Ink.  These squares were then adhered to 4 x scallop squares die cut from Coastal Cabana with the Layering Squares Dies before adhering to the left side of Basic White which has been embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

The sentiment from the same set was stamped onto scrap Basic White in Pretty Peacock Ink & die cut with the die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies before being adhered to centre of the 4 squares with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A very easy but effective card I think but more importantly I do hope you like it.

Seaside Spray Day #2

G’Day Friends,

I am well & truly playing catch up now as this is my 2nd post for today!

It’s Day #2 of Seaside Spray In Colour which is one of my favourites.  Do you have a favourite?

I’ve been digging out a few neglected Stamp Sets from my shelves & playing with them once again.

Today it is To a Wild Rose’s turn.  It’s been teamed up with Blushing Bride, Just Jade plus Seaside Spray.  Not forgetting Basic White of course.

I must admit, I am loving these colours & may have to play some more with this colour combination.

The flower is a 3 step image & was stamped onto a piece of Basic White in Seaside Spray Ink, stamping off twice, once & then direct onto the Cardstock.  I filled in the gaps with the little image from the same set which I must admit has been stamped in Petal Pink BUT only because I picked up the wrong colour.  This will teach me not to put Inks away when I have finished stamping with them, but it does blend in.

I then randomly chopped this stamped piece into 3’s prior to adhering to a piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock, Basic White & then to the Seaside Spray Base Card.

The sentiment was stamped in Seaside Spray Ink onto Basic White, die cut with the small oval from Layering Ovals Dies & adhered to a Just Jade scallop oval which was die cut from the same Dies prior to adhering to Card Front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete the card, I randomly adhered 3 x Seaside Spray Butterfly Gems to the Card Front.

Pretty Peacock Day #2

G’Day Friends,

Well this didn’t happen yesterday instead spent the day in bed with Vertigo.  I know what I would have sooner been doing lol.

Pretty Peacock screams the ocean – to me anyhow – & this was the perfect time to create a card for males, females or kids.

It was also the perfect time to dig out my very neglected Whale Done Stamp Set & Whale Builder Punch.

Of course when you have these 2 products, you have to do a little embossing which means I embossed a piece of Basic White Cardstock with the gorgeous Seabed 3D Embossing Folder before adhering to the Pretty Peacock Base Card.

The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set, stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink prior to being die cut with an oval from the Layering Ovals Dies.  It was then adhered to a Pretty Peacock scallop oval die cut with the same Dies.

The whale was stamped onto a piece of Basic White in Pretty Peacock Ink, punched with the Whale Builder Punch prior to adhering to the side of the oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I am loving the simple layout & colours of this card!  I hope you do too.

Seaside Spray Day #1

G’Day Friends,

I’m playing catch up this week with showcasing the 2019-2021 In Colours.  As well as Pretty Peacock this week you will also see creations from the lovely Seaside Spray.

This colour would have to be one of my favourites as I am a real blue person & it reminds of the colours in the ocean.

Again I’ve kept the layout fairly simple allowing the colour to shine although I’ve added Sahara Sand with just a pop of Rococo Rose.

The stamp set is Garden Wishes from the JJ Mini Catalogue.

I tied a small bow from Linen Thread to pop it a little more.

Pretty Peacock Day #1

G’Day Friends,

Are you ready for our new 2019-2021 In Colour of Pretty Peacock this week?

I will be honest & say that I wasn’t a big fan of Pretty Peacock but after creating all my projects for the week that has changed very quickly.

I’ve kept my card fairly simple but that is the way to go if you are creating with males in mind.

I randomly blended Pretty Peacock Ink over a piece of Basic White with the lovely new & oh so fantastic Blending Brushes leaving White spaces here & there.

I then stamped the large yacht from the Sailing Home Stamp Set direct over the blended area in Pretty Peacock Ink followed by the 2 smaller yachts.

The birds were randomly stamped 3 times above the yachts once again in Pretty Peacock Ink.

The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set & again stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink. 

Both these stamp sets are a couple of my “go to” sets.  Do you have ones like that?
