G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  It is always very much appreciated.

It’s Monday & that means its Manly Monday!  This time round I decided to recreate a card that popped up in my Pinterest Feed.  It is one that I created last year during Sale-a-Bration, so I thought why not try & re-create it & do it for the males.

You can see the original card HERE if you wish.  There is also a PDF Tutorial that you are able to download.

I just changed out the colours to Merry Merlot, Night of Navy, Smokey Slate & Basic White.

The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set while the images are from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set.

Looks totally different, don’t you think?

In fact I enjoyed creating this card again that I may do a few more this way so be on the lookout for more “throwbacks”.

Pretty Peacock Day #1

G’Day Friends,

Are you ready for our new 2019-2021 In Colour of Pretty Peacock this week?

I will be honest & say that I wasn’t a big fan of Pretty Peacock but after creating all my projects for the week that has changed very quickly.

I’ve kept my card fairly simple but that is the way to go if you are creating with males in mind.

I randomly blended Pretty Peacock Ink over a piece of Basic White with the lovely new & oh so fantastic Blending Brushes leaving White spaces here & there.

I then stamped the large yacht from the Sailing Home Stamp Set direct over the blended area in Pretty Peacock Ink followed by the 2 smaller yachts.

The birds were randomly stamped 3 times above the yachts once again in Pretty Peacock Ink.

The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set & again stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink. 

Both these stamp sets are a couple of my “go to” sets.  Do you have ones like that?

Dino Days

G’Day Stampers,

Before I get onto today’s card, I’m happy to say that I have just uploaded new PDF Tutorials for purchase. Simply click on the PDF Tutorial Sale Page. In the next couple of days, there will be more uploaded for you to choose.

Today I am sharing with you a Tripple Pop-Up Card that I created a few weeks ago. It has been sitting on my desk waiting to be finished which I managed to do this morning.

I’ve used the Granny Apple Green DSP from the Brights 6 x 6 DSP Pack along with Whisper White & Granny Apple Green Cardstock.

I’ve teamed the colours with the fun Dino Days Stamp Set as I thought the colours were bright & fun for kids. In fact all the stamping is from the Brights Colour Family – Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody & Pacific Point. The palm trunks have been stamped in Early Espresso Ink.

The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set & stamped in Pacific Point Ink before die cutting with a shape from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I don’t have a tutorial for you today but if you google Tripple Pop-Up Card, a lot of videos & tutorials will pop up that you will be able to check out.

I am sharing also sharing one of the cards we created in our class a couple of weeks ago where we created a fun Gift Card Holder with the gorgeous Ornate Garden Specialty DSP.

We teamed it up with the Ornate Style Stamp Set which goes with the DSP. The flower has been coloured & blended with Stampin’ Blends.

The piece of Whisper White has been embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder, layered onto a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock & then to a Terracotta Tile Base Card.

The Gift Card Holder is actually part of a piece of DSP which has been scored & folded to create the Holder. The top of the Holder was partially punched with a Circle Punch. I’ve stamped a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Early Espresso Ink, layered onto a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock & adhered to the inside of the DSP.

The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set.
