Inspirations in Ink July Blog Hop

We’re a small group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world who come together each month to showcase a theme & share inspiration for you to create.

Our theme this month is Christmas in July.  This is the chance to make a start on your Christmas cards ready to post the end of November, early Decemeber.

As our July Mega PDF Tutorial Bundle is all about the gorgeous Splendid Day Suite, I challenged myself to create a Christmas card with this Collection.  In fact, after doing this one, lots of ideas have popped into my mind so who knows you could be seeing more Christmas cards with this Suite or even mixed with a little of this & a little of that.

I decided to keep my layout fairly simple with a little random stamping with Sahara Sand & Soft Sea Foam Inks.  This layer was then layered onto Sahara Sand & the to a Soft Sea Foam Base Card.

The sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts, stamped wth Sahara Sand Ink before being die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

It’s Day 4 of showcasing the lovely Wonderful World Bundle, Level 2 from the 2022 July-August Sale-a-Bration.

My card today is totally different to what I’ve been sharing but hey that is a good thing, right?  I’ve only used a small piece of the lovely Designer Series Paper too.  In saying that, this layout is perfect for using up small amounts of Paper.

The stem was inked with Pear Pizzazz Ink while the flower in Orchid Oasis Ink prior to fussy cutting the images.

I was finished off with a few Orchid Oasis Decorative Matte Dots.

Kylie’s International Blog Highlights

G’Day Friends,

Today I am hopping along with Kylie’s International Blog Hop for July.  This is a hop where Demonstrators from all around the world chose to take part highlighting all our lovely product.  If this is the first time visiting my blog, thank you so much for dropping by.

Thank You is our theme for the hop.  Many of us don’t take the time to thank the ones we love or care about.  It can be the simple things that they do for us each day or big things that they have done recently.  It is so important to say thank you and show our appreciation for the hard work of others and the kindness that they show.

I love creating this type of card & posting them off in the mail or leaving them in my neighbours letterboxes.  Do you know of anyone you can this type of card to?  I’m sure they would appreciate it.

I’ve been playing with the gorgeous Splendid Day Suite from the new Mini & wow, are you going to love creating with it too!   It’s simply stunning & perfect for all occasions.

At first the main image was stamped onto Basic White but after putting the card together I decided it needed a little something else as it was too flat.  I then stamped the same image onto scrap Basic White, coloured & blended with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Combo, finishing off with the Clear Wink of Stella.

After die cutting the image with the Splendid Stems Dies, it was adhered over the top of the original image with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Much better I think.

The sentiment is from one of my favourites – Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.  Not only is it perfect for all occasions but the font seems to suit all cards.

It’s Wednesday & that means it’s time for our Across the Waves Mini Blog Hop.

Alas this will be our last Mini Hop.  Can you believe it?  In saying that, as from next week, we will be going global but hopping the last Wednesday of the month.

For the month of April, we are showcasing the lovely Oceanfront Stamp Set.  You need this set in your collection, believe me!

This set makes it so easy to create lovely projects with minimum supplies & effort!

Belle & I were out & about early on our walk this morning.  In fact, it was still dark when we left home, but by the time we hit the beach, I was struck with the most amazing sunrise with the sun just starting to appear.  Can I just say, most days the sunrise is amazing but some more so than others.

As I sat down to create my card, I knew I wanted to try & capture the image into my card.  I think I have!

The circle was die cut with the Layering Circles Dies before being embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  To create the scene, the images were stamped onto a piece of Bsaic White Cardstock before being adhered to the back of the circle.

The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.
