I sure hope you enjoyed our very 1st Weekly Sketch last week along with all the inspiration throughout the week. I know I did.

Today, Sharon & myself have a brand newbie to share with you where l hope you will play along with us.

Check out the embossed background. I love that all layers have been embossed, don’t you?

I’m liking the colour combo of Parakeet Party, Crumb Cake & Misty Moonlight.

Stampin’ Up! Garden Walk DSP WOW Version

Can you believe that this is our last Sketch Layout? Where did that month go?

I’ve again used a piece of the lovely Garden Walk 6 x 6 DSP for my card today. In fact, I’ve used the 1 piece for all 3 cards. Don’t you love it when you can do that?

Again, I’ve created with one of my favourites – Nature’s Prints Stamp Set along with the matching Natural Prints Dies.

The fern leaf was inked with Pecan Pie Ink, prior to Pretty Peacock Ink being randomly added to the image with a Sponge Dauber. These little devils are small but boy do they pack a punch! They give a real WOW to your projects.

The fern was then die cut with the matching die prior to being adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To complete the card, I added a small Linen Thread Bow to the stem & randomly scattered 3 x Pecan Pie Opaque Dots.

Stampin’ Up! Garden Walk DSP Stepped Up Version

Today’s post is all about our Stepped Up version of the Sketch Layout below.

Sometimes simple & easy challenge me but I do love creating them.

As I wanted to keep the layout true to it’s original clean & simple look, I decided to actually create in the Landscape for our card today.

I dug out one of my very favourite Stamp Sets to create with today & that is the lovely Nature’s Prints. I love the fern leaves in this set. They are so delicate & perfect for all occasions.

The sentiment was stamped direct onto Basic White with Peacn Pie Ink prior to randomly stamping the fern with Pretty Peacock Ink.

The DSP was adhered on an angle covering parts of the images, sides trimmed & adhered to a Pretty Peacock Base Card

It was finished off by randomly adhering 3 x Pecan Pie Opaque Dots to the card front..

Christmas in July with Nature’s Prints

G’Day Friends,

Can you believe our first week of sharing Christmas in July is at an end. Where did that time go?

For today’s card I decided to try a very traditional Christmas card with a red & green theme BUT with a sentiment that will cover all occasions.

If you don’t have a lot of Christmas sets like me – well, none really – then be sure to relook at what you have & see what you can come up with. You will be surprised what may pop into your mind.

I decided to play with Nature’s Prints for today’s card. I think all the images are perfect for Christmas. Watch this space lol!

The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set.

Once the Gold Festive Pearls were added to the card, they changed the whole appearance & instantly looked more like a Christmas Card. The little bit of Gold & Very Vanilla Satin Edged Ribbon set it off perfectly.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints & Blending Brushes

G’Day Friends,

It’s time for a Create Weekly Sketch Layout! This week is all about #13 which is a very easy layout but one that can be replicated in so many ways.

I also have a different way for you to save the Layouts which makes great use of the 6 x 8 Photo Albums. Eventually they will all be converted to this way as I think it is the just another way of using our Albums. They will also have their own page! A video will be uploaded sometime this week showing you how to organise them but in the meantime, click on the one you would like –

Click on the preferred layout to download, save or print & place in a folder for future use
The coloured layout & the sample layout can be placed in the Album back to back if you like

I decided a little bit of blending would suit this layout so I went with Crumb Cake, Peacan Pie & Pretty Peacock. Not colours I would normally put together but it is always good to get out of your comfort zone.

The lovely fern leaf is from Nature’s Prints Bundle, stamped with Pretty Peacock Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock prior to being die cut with the matching die from the Natural Prints Dies. The sentiment is from the same set but stamped with Peacan Pie Ink. To complete the card I added a small bow from Linen Thread & randomly adhered 5 x Rustic Metallic Dots to the card front.
