To all those who attended the Dawn Services this morning, hope you enjoyed!
I know I do & always look forward to it – grabs my heart strings everytime, especially the last post ringing out over the ocean.
If they were signing up recruits at the services, I think – know – I would be there to sign up again!
Anyhow, off to have lunch at the local RSL with the vets for a couple of hours, listen to all the old war stories, which I love hearing & of course the evil/fun, but must play “Two UP” or “Crown & Anchors” as we called it.
“……… We will remember them!”
