Note Cards…

… are one thing I do use a lot of.  It seems everytime I turn around, I am just about out of them & find it is time to create more.

For this lot, I thought I would try something a little different.  I have been cleaning out my cardstock & putting all my bits & pieces in their rightful home, when I come across a couple of small pieces of Acetate.  So instead of tossing it out, I thought“why not“.  Grabbed the Stamp Set French Foliage which was still sitting on my desk from 2 projects ago & decided to go with the Regals Collection seeing as though we are in Autumn in Australia.

For my cards I used Night of Navy, More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, Bravo Burgundy, Elegant Eggplant, & Always Artichoke Cardstock as my outer layers.  I must apologise I don’t have the measurements, as they have been used & posted.  They will fit the Australian size C6 or 11B envelopes with the coloured Cardstock measuing 5 1/2″ x 3 1/2″.

I randomly cut all 6 pieces of Whisper White Cardstock donw the left hand side,so that I had 2 pieces of Card & ensuring I still had room to write on the cards once they were all put together.

I randomly stamped the pieces of Acetate with Staz-On Ink.  When stamping onto Acetate, stamp very carefully so as not to let the stamp slip or slide.  I set each piece aside allowing to dry & prior to cutting.

Once dry, I cut the Acetate into 1″ strips & adhered to the pieces of Whisper White Cardstock before adhering to the Coloured Cardstock.

Wow, when I read that, they would of taken me all up 5 minutes.  Believe me, they took a little longer than that!

Until next time, Happy Stampin’!
