Now that the wedding season is over for the year (receptions, ie as invitations are starting again for the beginning of the year), I can now sit down & share the remaining of our Christmas Cards we have been creating in our Technique Classes.
One of our cards from last month’s class was using this lovely little set “Festival of Trees” from the fantastic Holiday Catalogue, runs through to 5 January 2015.
For this class we decided we would use the fantastic “Dazzling Diamonds” in a couple of ways. The first way was using Clear Packing Tape.
Of course we had to use the coordinating “Tree Punch” to go with the stamp AND the gorgeous “All is Calm” DSP. As all the guess work is taken out of trying to decide what colours to use, we went with Pear Pizzazz, Lost Lagoon, Soft Sky Inks & finished it off with touches of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. These are the colours used in the papers.
We then created a Gift Card Holder for the inside of the card. I had seen this on Pinterest sometime ago, but then couldn’t find it again, so I sat down & created my own version from memory. The holder folds down when the card is closed & pops up when the card is opened.
