I started a couple of Thank You Cards last week & then got a bit stuck on what to do on them. I used the new “Bohemian” DSP which we could order in our pre-order. I am not usually a Bright‘s person, but as I like to play with different colours & papers, I thought it would be perfect for my cards.
After staring at my stamps & not getting anywhere, this set literally fell off my table & onto my feet (I hadn’t put it on the shelf) & decided that I was going to use the Butterfly somehow on my cards. If that wasn’t a sign then I don’t know what is!
I actually did a couple of different designs but using the same layout.
Today’s cards are using Rich Razzleberry for the Base Card.
I embossed a piece of Very Vanilla using the matching Boho Chic Textured Embossing Folder, adhered a piece of Bohemian DSP to the side & added a piece of Crushed Curry Ribbon, tucking the ends behind & adhering to the Base Card.
I stamped the Butterfly Image onto a piece of Very Vanilla in Rich Razzleberry Ink. The Flowers were stamped with Delightful Dijon while the Leaves are in Old Olive. As I didn’t have the new “Bold Butterfly” Dies, I fussy cut it before adhering the Very Vanilla Butterfly to the top which has been run through the Big Shot using the “Butterfly“. Thinlits.
I added 3 large Rhinestones to the centre of the Butterfly.
“Thank You” was stamped using the now retired “Itty Bitty Banners” – just had to use it once last time – in Rich Razzleberry before cutting with the matching Bitty Banners Die & adhered to the card.
Now for the image that I truly love & that is the darling little Vine & Rose that goes with the set! I stamped the Vine inside in Old Olive while the little Rose is in Rich Razzleberry. I can see me using this Vine a lot & already ideas are popping into my head.
“Floral Wings” is a Hostess Set, so the only way you can earn this set is by having a Party. IF you are interested in that, please contact me.
Until next time, when I will show you the other “Thank You” Cards.
