Birthday Wishes

A couple of weeks ago, I created a card for a friend. Mind you, I was a little late in giving it to her, but she did receive it!

I don’t have a tutorial or measurements, so will try & remember how I created it.

For my candles, I applied 3 pieces of Cherry on Top Washi Tape to scrap Whisper White CS, cut them out & adhered to a piece of Whisper White CS. The flames are from Build a Birthday & stamped above the candles in Crushed Curry Ink. The whole piece was layered onto a piece of Bermuda Bay CS.

I cut a piece of the Cherry on Top DSP Stack, adhered to Whisper White CS prior to adhering to Base Card – Bermuda Bay.

I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap Whisper White in Black Memento, cut into Banner Shape & adhered to Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Saying it like this, it took no time in creating, but in reality it took me about an hour to do, as I kept changing my mind & playing with papers & colours.

All in all, I was really happy with the card. I only hope Naomi was too.
