I’ve been playing with Slider Cards (prepping for classes) the last couple of days & decided to create one for my niece who turns 3 in a week or so. If you google “Slider Cards“, all types will come up along with instructions.
In fact, I am so happy with my progress that I didn’t realise that I had created classes for the next 4 months including my volunteer class which is every week. I am also happy that they are all very different, ie techniques, stamps, colours, etc. I can only hope that I don’t change my mind at the last minute, which I find myself doing sometimes but more importantly the ladies like them too.
Because Elaina turns 3 this month & is into ducks, I thought it only appropriate that I create a card with ducks & of course we have to have 3 of them.
I did have to comprise on the coins as our 5c coin was a little big, so I punched a couple of circles using the Owl Builder Punch, stuck them together for strength & used them in lieu of the coins. They are not as strong but it did the trick.
I also opened the gorgeous “Go Wild” DSP Paper Stack which I think suits the card. I added a little bit of Bermuda Bay behind the ducks to create the illusion of water.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

PS Since the photo was taken, I’ve added coloured black Rhinestones to their eyes – much better!
