Love

I was playing around the other day creating cards for Crafty Creations & come up with my card I’m sharing with you today.  It was originally intended to be a Valentine’s Day, but looking at it, you could use it for any occasion even an Engagement, 0022mblogWedding or Anniversary!

I’ve used a couple of pieces of DSP from the “Have A Cuppa” Pack which is from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue.  I wanted to use it in a different way.

I layered a piece of DSP to a piece of Melon Mambo Card prior to running through the Big Shot with Bold Butterfly Thinlits.  A small border of Melon Mambo is showing all around the DSP.

I cut the word “Love” from the Expressions Thinlit (Retired) in Melon Mambo by running it through the Big Shot.  I placed the Love Thinlit (retired) over the top of the Butterfly Shape & again run it through the Big Shot.  When cutting it, be very careful to keep any small pieces that you may need to place back onto the card.

I then layered a piece of Window Sheet behind the cut out Butterfly & with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen, adhered the Love back into place including any cut pieces of the DSP.  The whole piece was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals, layered onto another piece of DSP from the same Pack & layered to the Base Card – Basic Grey.

I cut XOXO from Crushed Curry Card using the Circle Card Thinlits which was adhered to a Heart Shape cut from the same set before adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I do hope you like my card using Dies & Thinlits a little bit of a different way.

This card could easily be turned into a Shaper Card too.  All you have to do is place Stampin’ Dimensionals around the outline of the Butterfly.

I’ve just realised we’ve done no stamping on our card!

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Vicky
