As our Technique Treats this month is using Vellum & Stained Glass, I thought I would share with you a card I created showing Vellum & the Rose Wonder Dies from the current 2016 Occasions Catalogue.

I’ve had an idea going around in my head for a few weeks now & thought this was the perfect time to try it out.  The Rose Wonder Die was used to create my very own Rose Die by cutting a number of dies & adhering them to a piece of White Vellum before colouring them.

I’ve used 2 colours that I would normally not put together – Watermelon Wonder & Real Red – but I like the finished card.  The colours are way out of my comfort zone, but I am trying very hard to create out of my comfort zone as you will see in the upcoming weeks.

Not only are they colours I would not normally use, but I am actually packing my craft room up & have left out very limited stock to use – very frustrating, but one that I am dealing with.  I have also scheduled a number of posts, so be sure to check back every couple of days to see what I am sharing.
