Sending a Smile Your Way

I did today’s card a few weeks ago & hadn’t realised that it hadn’t been posted.  In fact, it was created when I first received my pre-order.  I am a little happy with the final result, although it is not what I started out to create but hey that happens.  Who hasn’t created a card that looks completely different to what you started out doing?

I’ve used the gorgeous “Love & Affection” Stamp Set along with a Blender Pen to colour my main flower.  The main part of the card has been sponged with Peach Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach & Sweet Sugarplum Inks with a Stampin’ Sponge.

I stamped the large flower direct onto a piece of Whisper White Circle in Sweet Sugarplum & then randomly stamped smaller flowers & leaves around the circle.  I stamped the same large flower onto a scrap of Whisper White Card in Sweet Sugarplum, coloured it with the Blender Pen before fussy cutting & adhering over the top of the matching flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The circle was then adhered to the sponged card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
