Painter’s Palette

I must admit that I don’t think this set has seen ink much at all.  I am still trying to get20170408_091149_resizedblog (2) through all my stamps before the new Catalogue comes out which means over the next couple of weeks, I will be showcasing some of my less stamped sets.  Today’s card is just that!

I’m also happy to say that I’ve used the matching “Playful Palette” Washi Tape.  Now all I need to do is create a card using the matching “Playful Palette” DSP Stack & I will be happy.  This suite uses some of the 2016-2018 In Colours of Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach & Sweet Sugarplum.

20170408_091200_resizedblogTo create my card, I added strips of the Washi Tape across the top of Very Vanilla CS before layering onto a piece of Basic Black CS & then to the Base Card of Peekaboo Peach.

I stamped the easel onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, the stamped the “spat” Image into the centre with Emerald Envy, Sweet Sugarplum & Peekaboo Peach Inks before die cutting with the Layering Squares Framelits.  The top of the easel was fussy cut while the legs were stamped direct onto the card.  I stamped the sentiment direct over the stamped images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

The “square” was adhere to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, as was the top of the easel.  To finish the card I added 3 x Basic Black Candy Dots (retired).

For the inside, 2 x strips of Washi Tape was adhered down the left hand side of Very Vanilla CS before being layered inside the Card.

I know it is a very simple & easy card but one that showcases this lovely set & the Washi Tape.

I would love to know what you think of it.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Vicky

  1. Very cute, I am sure that this one hasn’t seen ink at my place for a while either.
