Kylie’s International Highlights

I would like to take this opportunity & thank everyone who voted for Top ten International Highlights winners Badgeme last month in Kylie’s International Highlights.  Much to my surprise I ended up in the top “Top 10 winners” so be sure to click on the link & check out the other lovely creations.  When you visit their blog, be sure to leave a little love!

Once again I am playing along with Kylie International Blog Highlights where this month we get to create for the males.

What is Kylie’s International Highlights?   It is where Demonstrators from all around the world take part in a monthly Blog Highlight.  It’s a great way to get to know other Demonstrators & see projects using current Stampin’ Up!® product.  Each month Kylie has a different theme & this month is “Masculine“.

Vote for Me HereWhat is so different about this Blog Highlight?  YOU get to vote for your top 5 favourites.  The top ten will then get to take part in an international blog hop with Kylie & other talented successful demonstrators.

What do I do?  All you have to do is click on the “Vote for Me” photo at the side or head on over to Kylie’s Blog, click on the heart in the top right hand side of the picture.

Can I leave comments?  Sure you can.  Once you have voted, click on any picture & comment on those that you really love.  You know how bloggers love to read your comments.

For my card I decided to use the “Nailed It” Bundle from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue & which is retiring at the end of May.

I layered a piece of the “Urban Underground” DSP to a piece of Very Vanilla CS before20170409_091213_resizedblog layering onto the Base Card – Crushed Curry.

I used the “Nailed It” Bundle to create my tools.  Firstly I stamped 3 of the Tools from the “Nailed It” Stamp Set onto scraps of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloured small areas with the Basic Grey Watercolour Pencil & blended a little with a Blender Pen before cutting with the matching “Build It” Framelits by running through the Big Shot.  I added the cute little “smiley face” to the hammer.

I cut a piece of Very Vanilla CS with the large circle from the “Stitched Shapes” Framelits by running through the Big Shot, randomly stamped the circle with the Nails & Screw Image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink before adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ 20170409_091158_resizedblog (2)Dimensionals.

To highlight the handles a little I added a little Basic Black CS by cutting just the handles using the “Build It” Framelits & adhering to the shapes which were then arranged over the stitched circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Happy Birthday” is from the “Sunshine Sayings” Stamp Set & has been stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, punched with the “Classic Label” Punch & adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you like my card today.

Don’t forget to head on over to Kylie’s Blog to check out all the lovely cards that have been created & to vote for your favourites.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Vicky
