Why Geometric Vibes?
Geometric shapes – like triangles, circles or hexagons – create instant impact with very little effort. They give a masculine, structured feel to your handmade cards and are easy to adapt for any occasion. Plus, you can use up those scrap cardstock pieces in a creative way & who doesn’t love to use those scraps!
Step-by-Step – Geometric Vibes Card
- Prepare Your Base – Start with a simple, solid card base – White always works well
- Cut Your Shapes – Punch or die-cut multiple shapes in coordinating Cardstock – Pattern Paper along with solid Cardstock is used here
- Arrange & Adhere – Layer them across the card front in a pattern – linear, clustered or even scattered – randomly placed onto a White layer
- Add a Sentiment – Stamp or layer a sentiment panel in the center or lower corner – off-centre a little but layered onto contrasting Cardstock & popped up for interest
- Finish with Details – Add enamel dots or keep it crisp and modern with no embellishments – crisp & modern with no Embellishments
