World Card Making Day 2025 | Home For Christmas Collection

G’Day Friends,

Last Saturday, Robbie & myself spend all day creating & sharing our World Card Making Event with you on our YouTube Channels.  For something a little different, we did a Christmas Edition of #WCMD2025.

Today I’m sharing my very 1st Christmas project featuring the Home for Christmas paper collection by Uniquely Creative. This beautiful set of papers is perfect for creating cozy, nostalgic designs that capture the warmth of the Christmas season.

For this project, I combined a few of the gorgeous Creative Cuts from the Collection in the way of a Christmas tree, presents and of course, the lovely Home for Christmas pattern paper to make a card that feels both joyful and timeless.  It’s a wonderful way to kick off Christmas crafting and start building up a stash of handmade cards.

The Design

  • Home for Christmas Paper Collection: The rich colours and festive prints set the tone for the whole project.

  • Christmas Tree & Presents: Classic symbols of Christmas that instantly create a focal point.

  • Pattern Paper Layers: Mixing different designs adds depth and makes the card feel complete.

PDF Tutorial & Sketch Layout Book

To make this project easy to recreate, we’ve created a PDF tutorial that includes:

  • Suggested supply list
  • Measurements – A5 AND A2
  • Step by step instructions
  • Video link to all projects
  • Card Sketch Layout Book

Purchase your PDF Tutorial by clicking HERE & receive a Sketch Layout Book too.

Final Thoughts

The Home for Christmas collection brings such a cozy, traditional feel to your Christmas projects.  Pairing it with simple motifs like trees and presents makes it easy to create cards that friends and family will treasure.

I’d love to hear – what’s your go-to Christmas paper collection or favourite festive element to include in your cards?  Share in the comments below!

Until next time – stay inspired & keep creating!
