G’Day Crafty Friends,
Today’s cards are inspired by a whole little strawberry world… think fluffy rabbits, curious mice, waddly geese, flower patches and old-fashioned bikes rolling through the garden. Soft colours, simple shapes and lots of ways to stretch those basic dies you already have in your stash – created with the lovely Strawberry Friends Collection by Paper Rose Studio.
No complicated techniques. No specialty dies. Just a handful of basic shapes… and a tiny world of strawberry-loving friends.
You don’t need fancy supplies to make magic. You just need to look at your dies a little differently.

To create a Die Cut Frame
- Place Cardstock onto Die Cutting Machine
- Place a large Stitched Circle Die on top of Cardstock
- Place a smaller size Circle Die inside the larger die ensuring it is even spacing all around
- Add Masking Tape or Washi Tape over Dies to adhere in place
- Run through Die Cutting Machine

- You will now have 2 circle shapes – 1 x “frame” & 1 x circle – refer below
- Use the “frame” on your project & save the circle shape to use on another project
- Creating different frames this way will work for most die shapes & even punches. Change out the shapes from circles to rectangles, ovals, squares, hearts, etc

Final thought
If you ever feel stuck creatively, try grabbing your basic shape dies and challenge yourself to use them in different ways. You’ll be surprised how far you can stretch what you already have. And maybe you’ll end up with a whole gang of strawberry friends along the way.
Until next time – stay inspired & keep creating!
