G’Day stampers,

Did you see my card from yesterday using the lovely Twinkle Twinkle DSP? Well, today I have the boy’s version which has been created with exactly the same DSP & stamp setTwinkle Twinkle DSP - 19.25 – A Little Wild.

I change out the Base Card to Pool Party & added the little honey bear which is coloured & blended with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.  The little bees are Daffodil Delight.  The shape has been punched with the Tailored Tag Punch.

It’s been awhile since I’ve participated in Kylie’s International Blog Highlights so I thought I would check it out & see what the theme for this month was & that is LOVE!  Of course, love is celebrated in sorts of ways, eg Weddings, Baby, Anniversary, etc.

I actually created my card for a new baby taking the layout from a sketch I saw on Pinterest.  Thank you for the inspiration so that I could create my card.

Not sure of what is Kylie’s International Highlights?   It is where Demonstrators from all around the world take part in a monthly Blog Highlight.  It’s a great way to get to know other Demonstrators & see projects using current Stampin’ Up!® product.

What is so different about this Blog Highlight?  YOU get to vote for your top 5 favourites.  The top ten will then get to take part in an international blog hop with Kylie & other Vote for Me Heretalented successful demonstrators.

What do I do?  All you have to do is click on the “Vote for Me” photo at the side or head on over to Kylie’s Blog, click on the heart in the top right hand side of the picture.  I’m #3!

For my card today I’ve used the cute little “A Little Wild” Stamp Set , Page 108 of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue.  It is also available as a Bundle.

You could use it for a newborn, birthday, etc.  The set is perfect for all occasions as well as Tags to attach to presents.

I have a couple of other cards in the process of being created using this same set in time for an  Expo that I will be attending in a couple of weeks.  I will post them as soon as they are completed so be sure to pop back & check them out.

Once again, I am playing along with Kylie’s International Blog Highlights which is so much fun.  This month our theme is BABY!  I will be honest & say I haven’t created a baby’s card for so long.

What is Kylie’s International Highlights?   It is where Demonstrators from all around the world take part in a monthly Blog Highlight.  It’s a great way to get to know other Demonstrators & see projects using current Stampin’ Up!® product.  Each month Kylie has a different theme so we get to play with different product.

For my card I ended up using the stamp set “Swirly Bird” which was still sitting on my 20170611_121427blog-insidedesk from when I created my cards for my “Creative Cards” class .  I teamed it up with the “Colour Theory” DSP Stack, yep sitting on my desk from my Memories & More Class.   Love, love, love this stack!!!!!!

Bundle of Love

I received a brand nephew just before Christmas so today’s card is the one I created for him.  It is not the traditional soft blue as I’ve gone for a bright look.  I didn’t mean to but I seem to be on a “Brights mission” of late.  Have you noticed that with my cards?

I saw this card on Pinterest, so took my inspiration from there.  Thank you so much.

For something a little extra special, I decided to create a Z Fold Card.  The Base is Night of Navy.  I then embossed a piece of Whisper White with the Happy Heart EF & adhered it to the left hand side.

I then stamped the “wash splat” image from the “Sunshine Sayings” Stamp Set direct onto a piece of Whisper White in Daffodil Delight Ink.  I cut a heart from Night of Navy using the Heart from the coordinating “Sunshine Wishes” Framelits which was adhered over the top of the stamped Daffodil Delight.

I die cut a Baby T from Whisper White using the “Baby’s First” Framelits, stamped the little tie from the coordinating “Something for Baby” Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink onto a scrap of Whisper White, die cut with using the little bow Framelit & adhered it to the Baby T.  This was adhered over the Night of Navy Heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

“Bundle of” from “Sunshine Sayings” Stamp Set was stamped direct onto the stamped card in Night of Navy Ink. 

“Love” from the coordinating “Sunshine Wishes” Framelits was die cut in Whisper White, Daffodil Delight & Night of Navy.  I adhered the Night of Navy to the Whisper White & then the Daffodil Delight was adhered to the top but allowing a little bit of the Night of Navy showing to the sides.  It was then adhered to the top of the Baby T. I did the Whisper White so that it would pop a little more.

To complete my card, I randomly scattered Metallic Sequin Assortments around the card before layering onto a piece of Night of Navy & then to the Card Front.

For my inside, I embossed a small piece of Whisper White with the Happy Heart EF, added a small edge of Daffodil Delight down 1 side & layered onto a piece of Whisper White before adhering inside.

From all accounts, the mum loved the card & it has now gone into Leo’s Baby Album.
