Geared Up Garage

G’Day Stampers,

I’m not if you have noticed but I have been very quiet on here & social media.  I have had no internet which has been very annoying but I did manage to sit down & create, plan Geared-Up-Garage-6---Insideclasses & clean my craft room.

Today’s share is one we created in our class a few weeks ago using the great Geared Up Garage Stamp Set & Garage Gears Dies.  It is the perfect set for Father’s Day!

I’m also happy to share that I had a request to start another class.  If you are in the Burrum Heads, Howard or Torbanlea areas be sure to come along.  For the moment they are being help the 3rd Saturday of each month. This card was one of our 1st cards we created & the ladies loved it!

I’ve actually cased it from the Annual Cataloue, Page 154.

If you click on the link above the photo, you will be able to download your free tutorial to create your own card.  The tutorial includes a list of products used to create my card plus measurememnts, imperial & metric.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Goodbye Lovely as a Tree

Today is the last day of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue & also the last day that the gorgeous & oh so loved Lovely as a Tree will be seen.  It is one of the very 1st stamp sets that I ever purchased & 1 that I won’t be letting go.

Don’t forget, if you want to take advantage of the Last-Chance Products, today is the last day that you are able to.  Once they are gone, they are gone forever!

Have you purchased your Online Classes yet?  Our Bundle/ Suite Online Class is now live where we are showcasing the lovely Come Sail Away Suite which is in the new Annual Catalogue.

This month for the Stamp, Ink, Paper Online Class it is all about Abstract Impressions.  This class goes live Friday, 7 June.

True Gentleman

Today I am sharing with you our 2nd card created last Friday using the True Gentleman Suite from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue, Page 44.  I am actually loving the colours & design of the True Gentleman DSP.  Perfect for the males but which could also be used for females.

To create our shapes, we punched pieces of the DSP using the Tailored Tag Punch before layering them onto a piece of Night of Navy leaving a small amount showing aroundTruly-Tailored-1---Inside shapes.

The sentiment was coloured with the Chocolate Chip & Tranquil Tide Stampin’ Write Markers before stamping direct onto a piece of Very Vanilla.

A piece of Linen Thread was threaded threw a button from the True Gentleman Button Pack & added to the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.

Happy Birthday

Today is the day you have all been waiting for!  Sale-A-Bration (ends 31 March 2018) & the 2018 Occasions Catalogue start today. This means that for every $90 AUD you spend, you get to choose product for free from the SAB Brochure.

I’ve been busy over the break & have planned heaps of classes using lots of lovely new product & lots of lovely techniques.  In the next couple of days, I will be posting all the classes, dates, times, etc.

Now, I am not sure if you have heard of the Brushos but these are my favourite from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue.  I just can’t get enough of them.  Each time I think I’ve played enough a new idea pops into my mind, so keep your eye out for more in the next coming weeks.

Today’s card has been created from my very first play with this fun product.  I didn’t want to toss it out once finished even though I thought it didn’t look any good, but I’m happy with the final result.  I suppose you could call it Emboss Resist with Brushos.

If you don’t have a Demonstrator & would like a copy of both the 2018 Occasions Catalogue & SAB Brochure, please do not hesitate in contacting me.  You can also click on the Catalogues on the right hand side.

For my card I decided to use the “Nailed It” Bundle from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue & which is retiring at the end of May.

I layered a piece of the “Urban Underground” DSP to a piece of Very Vanilla CS before20170409_091213_resizedblog layering onto the Base Card – Crushed Curry.

I used the “Nailed It” Bundle to create my tools.  Firstly I stamped 3 of the Tools from the “Nailed It” Stamp Set onto scraps of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloured small areas with the Basic Grey Watercolour Pencil & blended a little with a Blender Pen before cutting with the matching “Build It” Framelits by running through the Big Shot.  I added the cute little “smiley face” to the hammer.

I cut a piece of Very Vanilla CS with the large circle from the “Stitched Shapes” Framelits by running through the Big Shot, randomly stamped the circle with the Nails & Screw Image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink before adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ 20170409_091158_resizedblog (2)Dimensionals.

To highlight the handles a little I added a little Basic Black CS by cutting just the handles using the “Build It” Framelits & adhering to the shapes which were then arranged over the stitched circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Happy Birthday” is from the “Sunshine Sayings” Stamp Set & has been stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, punched with the “Classic Label” Punch & adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you like my card today.

Don’t forget to head on over to Kylie’s Blog to check out all the lovely cards that have been created & to vote for your favourites.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
