G’Day Crafty Friends,

I have another card to share with you created with the same Ultraviolet Delight Collection by Uniquely Creative.

If you love rich colour palettes, delicate details and layered textures, this project is for you. Today’s card combines the stunning Ultraviolet Delight Paper Collection with soft florals, a little embossing & small banners.  The result? A birthday card full of depth, charm and just the right amount of dimension.

Design Inspiration

The inspiration behind this card was simple – celebrate all things purple.  From soft lavender tones to deep violet hues, this palette creates a cohesive yet eye-catching base.  Check out that lovely plaid in the background.  Pairing these shades with fussy images from the paper pack adds a delicate feel while still keeping the layout clean and modern.

Final Thoughts

This card is a lovely reminder that you don’t need complicated techniques to create something special.  By combining rich purple tones, soft botanical elements and thoughtful layering, you can achieve a design that feels both elegant and effortless.

Ultraviolet Delight Collection | A Clean & Simple Birthday Card

G’Day Crafty Friends,

I’ve been playing with the Ultraviolet Delight Collection by Uniquely Creative the past week & much to my surprise I have enjoyed this collection.  I am not a purple lover but I do know a lot love purple!

This collection includes shades of purple – soft lavenders, rich violets and deep plums that all come together to create a palette that feels both elegant and playful.  For today’s project, I’ve been inspired by one of the samples that comes in the magazine to create a clean and simple birthday card filled with delicate detail and charm.

Building the Design

I started with a crisp white layer which was then embossed to bring elements to life & for them to really shine while keeping the overall look fresh and modern.

Keeping It Clean & Simple

One of the key elements of this card is restraint.  Even with florals, die cuts and embellishments the layout remains uncluttered with plenty of white space, a clear focal point & minimal embellishments.

A simple birthday sentiment, placed thoughtfully, finishes the design without taking attention away from the artwork.

Final Thoughts

This project is a reminder that “clean and simple” doesn’t have to mean plain.  By combining soft watercolour elements, detailed fussy cutting and a cohesive colour palette, you can create something that feels both elegant and full of personality.

Paper Rose Studio | Words of Wisdom Collection

G’Day Crafty Friends,

Today I’m sharing a brand new Paper Rose Studio Design Team project featuring 2 beautiful easy fun Front Pocket fold cards using the Words of Wisdom Collection.  If you love soft florals and meaningful sentiments, these are for you!

As I wanted to keep things light, elegant and encouraging. The Collection has the most gorgeous floral patterns paired with uplifting sentiments, making it perfect for cards that brighten someone’s day.

This design may look hard but is so simple to create. It’s perfect for beginners or when you want something a little different without complicated steps.

There is a pocket in the front of the card that you are able to slot in a Gift Card or as I’ve done, a small card.  I also decided to turn the base card into a proper full base card.

You can easily switch up the papers and sentiments to suit birthdays, thank you cards or any occasion for that matter!

Final Thoughts

I absolutely love how these fun folds turned out, especially that they both look so different, yet created with the same collection!
