Today I am sharing with you one of the cards we created last week in our class. It is using the lovely Daisy Delight Stamp Set the Daisy Punch & the equally lovely Delightful Daisy DSP. The DSP is retiring at the end of June so if you want it I would suggest you grab it now.
It’s a simple little card but I don’t think you need a lot with this Suite as the product does all the work for you.

Don’t forget when shopping online to use the new May Host Code.
Last Friday in our class we created an Impossible Card using the Delightful Daisy Suite from the current catalogue. The Suite includes the Daisy Delight Stamp Set, Daisy Punch & the Delightful Daisy DSP. The Stamp Set & Punch are available as a Bundle up until the end of May. I am still undecided whether or not I like this type of fold but the class were happy with their cards. I did mean to take photos & show you as they were all very different but we sort of forgot to do so.
To download your free tutorial on how I created my card, please click on the link above the photo. It includes all the products used along with measurements & a diagram of the templates to keep for future use.
If you would like to grab these products while you can, check out the Clearance Rack & the Last-Chance Products – Occasions & Annual (which are selling very fast) while they are available.
When shopping Online, be sure to the Host Code for May.
Today’s post is one that we created in our Creative Class a couple of weeks ago. We had a play with Washi Tape. It is such a fun way to create a WOW to your project, no matter whether it is your cards or scrapbooking.
Today, I am sharing with you another card that went in the mail last week celebrating World Card Making Day.. In fact I liked these so much that I actually created a couple of them which doesn’t happen very often.
I actually saw a card on Pinterest sometime ago similar to this one, but of course now I can’t find it. If you recognise it, please let me know so that I can give you credit. Thank you so much for your inspiration.
For my Base Card I’ve used the Note Card & Envelopes available in Whisper White& Very Vanilla. Did you take advantage to purchase them when they were on special? I know I did!
I die cut a piece of Whisper White CS using the Swirly Scribles Thinlitsbefore adhering a piece of Window Sheetbehind the top & bottom part of the card. I then decided to add a piece of the Delightful Daisy DSPbehind the see through section. Once this was done, I then Inlaid the die shape back into the card & trimming the excess Window Sheet from the sides & bottom.
I’ve been quite the last week, needed to take a little downtime but now I’m back.
As you are probably aware, Saturday was World Card Making Daybut this year I’ve taken it 1 step further & decided to celebrate for the whole of October! This means that I’ve created a pile of cards using the gorgeous Note Cards & Envelopeswhich are on special up to 10 October to post or hand out to random family, friends, neighbours, customers, etc. Today’s card is using the Whisper Whiteset. These Cards & Envelopes are my “go to” supply! Love them!

I feel very honoured to be among this group, so thank you once again!
You are visiting from Corinne Blakewho is from the USA. I do hope you enjoyed Connie’s lovely creation.
Last month the theme was Teacher’s Gifts. Well, for this blog hope, it is the same theme but creating a new item. I did started out with butterflies in my head but now that I’ve finished it, they do look like funny sort of butterflies. Yep, I picked up the wrong item, but never mind, I am happy with the project & more than happy with the colours.
The leaves were stamped onto a scrap piece of Whisper white CS, first with Lemon Lime Twist, then with Old Olive, punched with the Leaf Punch, scored down the middle to give them dimensional before adhering to the flowers. They are from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set. Sorry the photo doesn’t really do them justice.
For my card, I created another flower using the above steps, layered the embossed Card onto a piece of Daffodil Delight CS& then to the Base Card – Whisper White. The leaves were created the same way as the crate.
I’m pretty happy with the end result even though the flowers were meant to be butterflies. A happy mistake in this instance.
Today I am sharing with you a “Spinner Card” using the Delightful Daisy Suite, Page 126 of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue. When I first saw this set I imagined it spinning on a card & then forgot about it until I saw this card on Pinterest which prompted me to get my act into gear & create one of my own. Thank you for your inspiration!
In fact, this is the card we will be creating today in our “Cards @ Toogoom” Class this morning. You still have time to come along. Everything is supplied, just bring yourself or a friend. 9.30am – 11.00am.
My greeting has been printed onto Whisper White CS in Night of Navy, cut down to size & adhered to the Card Front. You could easily stamp your own greeting or sentiment using one of the many lovely sets from the Annual Catalogue.
It was a pretty easy card to create but one with a bit of a Wow. I am going to wind my flower up a little before posting off so that the customer’s mum will see it spin when she opens it.
Don’t forget when shopping in my Online Shop to use August’s Host Code to receive a gift from me.

This month the theme is “Teacher’s Gifts“. I don’t have any need for these gifts, but it is lovely to create something different & be out of your comfort one at the same time.

My project today is actually one that I created for one of my “Creative Classes” using the “Delightful Daisy” Suite. This Suite is my all time favourite from the Annual Catalogue but haven’t really showcased any of the cards I’ve created. I sometimes remember AFTER I’ve mailed the cards that I hadn’t taken any photos.
I think Post-It Note Holders are always very handy, so while creating my holder, I thought I would do something a little different & turn it into the shape of a “bag”. The handle has been created using the gorgeous Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon. Don’t you love it?
Seeing as though the ‘bag” was so cute, I thought it would be lovely to have a matching card to go with the gift, so out came the Suite once again. I’m glad I did, as I am a little happy with the final result.
The gorgeous Petal Burst EF has been used both on the bag & the card – not sure if you can easily see it. It finished the projects off perfectly.
I am loving the coordinating little “bag” & the card. I do hope you do too.
Be sure to check out all the other lovely creations when you pop on over to Kylie’s Blog. Don’t forget to go & vote for the ones you love & leave them a little love!
