Today is Day 11 & welcome to the fun Animal Expedition DSP. This paper suits everyone from babies, boys, girls through to males & females. I do hope you are enjoying seeing all the different ways of cutting your gorgeous DSP!
If you want to go back to Day 1 where I played with the Petal Promenade DSP, be sure to click here. All the cards have tutorials to go with them. There are a few days left for the “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” DSP Promotion.
Yes, if you are a SU! Demo, then you are able to use them for your classes, workshops & demonstrations. It just means that all the work is done for you, except of course your samples.
Warning – This technique can be quiet addictive & anyone, yes anyone can do it. We had 2 kids in our class last Friday & they loved it! In fact the 8 year old requested another for this Friday to which I am only too happy to do for her.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I am participating in the Stamping Dreams Blog Hopfor April. It has been a few months since I’ve played along. The theme this month is showcasing our favourite DSP. This can be from the 2017-2018 Annual or the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. It is also the perfect opportunity to use some of that gorgeous DSP before it retire.
For me, I decided to go along with the Birthday Memories DSP. I haven’t used it much but in the past week I’ve found myself playing with it lots. The colours & design of the DSP are great for both girls & boys.
As I wanted to showcase this fun DSP, there isn’t any stamping except for the sentiment which is from the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set.
If you click on the link below you will be able to download a free tutorial which includes the product used to create the page plus measurements (metric & imperial).

Thanks once again for stopping by & checking out my project today.
Today’s card is one of the few we created last week in class using the No Bones About It Stamp Set. We split the class into pairs so that they could work o a couple of different cards. I don’t usually do classes this way but over the next couple of weeks you will understand why
We actually had 2 lovely kids attend on Friday with their Nana & they loved it. They even managed to do the Technique we did on our 2nd card – hence the splitting of the class & requested the same technique for today which I am more than happy to do. Abby even mentioned that this one was a lot harder than the technique one.
I originally got the idea from Pinterest but did change it out a little to suit me. Thank you so much for your inspiration.
If you click on the link below, you will be able to download a tutorial to create your own card. Don’t have the stamp set? Then change it out to suit what you have in your stash.

I’m a little behind in sharing my class cards with you so over the next couple of days & weeks, I will be posting our cards we’ve been creating in class.
My card today is the 2nd one we created a few weeks ago using the cute Party Pandas Stamp Setfrom Sale-A-Bration. You can see the 1st one by clicking here. I took my inspiration from a number of cards found on Pinterest.
Last week I challenged our FB Group to create a male card using the sketch provided. I thought it would be a great way to get their creative juices flowing & even use it for a class or demonstration. This is my take on the sketch.
The background was created with the Gamboge & Yellow Brushos – love these Powders – by spritzing Shimmery White with water & tapping Brushos directly over the CS, allowing it to spread & setting aside to dry.
School Holidays are happening here in Australia & on Saturday I held a Kid’s Class. I had been ask at the Christmas Fair I attended at the beginning of the month if I would do classes but I just hadn’t gotten my act together to organize any. Well, happy to say, the classes are happening & the kids & their mums are loving them so much that they want to continue coming along after the holidays, so watch this space!
For our card we used the No Bones About It Stamp Set. I have had this set for sometime but have only used it a couple of times, posted them off in the mail completely forgetting to share with you. The inspiration came from Pinterest but of course I had to change it a little to make it mine. Some of them even turned their cards into Christmas Cards. Thank you so much for your inspiration!
We teamed up our card with a couple of retired sets – Balloon Celebration & Hello, but they didn’t care. It just meant I could get a little bit more use from the stamp sets.
For the kids that turned their card in to a Christmas one, I pulled out the Santa’s Suit Stamp Set& Build A Santa Framelits. Their cards look great (sorry, I forgot to take photos).
With the class, I gave them the option of choosing to create the card or to create a 6″ x 8″ Memories & More Page, still using the same products. Be sure to check back in a couple of days to see the page we created.
I don’t usually write about personal stuff here but I feel that I have to spread the word about organ donations. It is very important to register, no matter which country you reside in, get yourself & family members talking about it. Let your family members know your decision. In Australia & if possible register your wishers online. You can find out more information by clicking here.
I have been playing a lot with the A Little Wild Bundle & must say I am loving it. I will be honest & say that it has been sitting on my shelf for a little while now, but so glad that I have finally inked it. You will love it too.
I saw this card on Pinterest sometime ago & it sort of stuck in my mind. So thank you Lorri for your inspiration. I loved the card so much that I created 2.
I’m happy to say that my card went off in the mail at the beginning of the week so my neice should have received it by now. She loves Poo Bear & this set reminds me of her.
With the school holidays being on, I decided to hold a couple of classes each week until school returns at the end of the month & then we will be doing the adult classes once again.
Much to my surprise they loved it. The kids were lovely & so happy to be playing with stamps, inks, papers, punches & of course the Big Shot. I had 1 little girl say all she wanted was her cupcake to pop up like her Aunty…… She squealed with delight when we popped her cake up & just about fell over with excitement & couldn’t wait to show it to her Aunty. The kids even had the names that they were going to give their cards too.
I saw this card on the internet sometime ago & thought it perfect for them to create. A little bit of everything. Unfortunately I am unable to find it again to link back, so a huge thank you for your inspiration.
The card may look a lot to create but breaking it down, you will have it created in no time.

I’ve had a bit of a play with one of the 2016 SAB sets – “Honeycomb Happiness“. This is such a cute little set with lots of possibilities.
I did start to case a card from the current Catalogue, but it sort of went off on its own, although I am happy with it.
I wanted my chick to look like it was poking it’s head out from behind a hole in the wall which is why I embossed the card with the Brick EF & added a circle around the chick.
I’ve used my Blender Pens to colour the Chick & Balloon Images. I also applied Clear Wink of Stella, although you can’t see it in the photo. It is very hard to capture a good photo of the lovely soft shimmer & sparkle it adds to your cards.
