Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Park meets Create Weekly #28

Before we get onto today’s Create Weekly, I just wanted to say that as from Friday, 1 September, I will be sharing a series of Colour Combinations every 2nd Friday. The combinations will be focusing on the In Colours – 2022-2024 & 2023-2025. I hope you will join me on my YouTube Channel.

I’m a little late in posting our Create Weekly today as I had to duck into town.

Today’s layout is a very easy one but with lots of potential especially the background.

The colours for this card are – Basic White, Sweet Sorbet, Blackberry Bliss & Old Olive. I would never have thought to put these colours together but they compliment each other so well, don’t you think?

Check out the pretty stamp in the background. Isn’t it gorgeous? It’s been stamped direct onto Basic White prior to embossing with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

Create Weekly #15 with Cheerful Daisies Bundle

G’Day Friends,

Today’s card has been taken from a sketch layout created for our Create Weekly. We’re playing with #15. In saying that, it doesn’t mean that we’re up to #15 as in fact, I just sort of go with the layout that tends to jump out at me.I decided that it was time to play with the brand new Cheerful Daisies Bundle that has been sitting on my shelf for a week or so waiting to see ink. I thought this layout was perfect for this Bundle, but you be the judge.

The background was created by blending Pool Party Ink over a piece of Basic White Cardstock with a Blending Brush & the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks.

Welcome to Week 3 of sharing a Colouring Technique. Throughout April, Robbie & myself are sharing a couple of our favourite colouring techniques each Sunday.

As our Simply Stamping Class this month was all about Stampin’ Spritzers, I decided to share with you a bonus card I created when designing our cards for this class. The PDF Tutorial will be available for purchase later on in the week over on my PDF Tutorials for Page.

I’m loving the Rich Razzleberry & Fresh Freesia, don’t you? I’ll be sad to see Rich Razzleberry go but happy that Fresh Freesia is staying around. I love these 2 colours together but no doubt, I will find something else that blends in nicely.

Check out all that shimmer? Isn’t it lovely? Don’t you just love that background? If you haven’t purchased any Glimmer Paper, be sure to do so, as it’s retiring too.

An easy & simple way to create lots of pretty backgrounds for your cards or even scrapbook pages. Why not give it a go & see what colour combinations you can come up with.

Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop – April 2023

Thank you so much for joining me today. I’m once again joining Kylie & Bruno’s Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Training Blog Hop.

I’ve been playing with Colouring Techniques this month & thought I would continue with the gorgeous Soft Pastels Assortments for my Thank You cards this month.

If you haven’t played with thsese little devils, do yourself a favour, dig them out & start playing. They are truely lovely with the end result being a complete surprise.

The paper is from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper which I teamed up with the Forever Fern Stamp Set. I’ve coloured the leaves with the Night of Navy Pastel & a cotton bud. I’m really happy with the final result.

The card was finished off with a little White Baker’s Twine bow & a couple of the Glossy Dots Assortments. The sentiment was stamped onto scrap Basic White Cardstock with Night of Navy Ink before before being cut into shape & adhered to the right of the panel.
