“Look Mum, no stamping!”
I finally used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits & must say “love, love, love it!” So easy to create cards, Boxes, etc. My head is swimming with ideas.
I actually used some of the new Bohemian DSP, along with the matching Washi Tape (from my pre-order), along with some of the accessories included in the Thinlits. I’m not a Brights’ person, but hey it is good to get out of your comfort zone every now & then. In fact, I actually enjoyed playing with these colours.
As I mentioned, no stamping on this one. I actually didn’t realise it until I went to take a photo. Amazing how much we get to rely on out stamps?
To create my holder I cut a piece of Very Vanilla using the Thinlits & then recut a piece of DSP for the front & adhered it to the front ensuring the top edges matched.
For the Belly Band, I cut a piece of Bermuda Bay, adhered a piece of DSP to the centre & wrapped it around the card. This Band can slip on & off very easy, although you could just adhere a piece to the front.
For the centre piece adhered to the Band, I punched a piece of Very Vanilla with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch & adhered it to the Bermuda Bay Scallop Circle. To create this scallop Circle, I punched a couple of pieces of Bermuda Bay Card with the 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch, cut it into pieces & adhered the pieces around the Very Vanilla Card prior to adhering to the Belly Band with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the card itself, I adhered a piece of Bermuda Bay Ribbon (Retired) to the back of a piece of Very Vanilla Card. I cut another piece of Very Vanilla Card, adhered 2 x strips of Washi Tape prior to adhering to the bottom of the larger piece before layering onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry. “For You” is from the set & I cut it using Rich Razzleberry & running through the Big Shot.
To finish it off, I adhered a Bermuda Bay Candy Dot to the top so that it looked like a brad.
I then decided it needed just a little something, so I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry Card, along with the “Enjoy” & run it through the Big Shot before adhering it to the Pocket.
Because the size is not Australian Standard, I created an envelope with the Envelope Punch Board.
I hope you like today’s project.
Until next time, Happy Stampin’
Vicky
