Today I am sharing with you a simple card created with the lovely Seaside Notions Stamp Set. This is one of my favourite sets but then again, let’s face it, there are lots that are my favourite lol.

It was teamed up with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to create the “subtle” background.

I also use this layout for a lot of my cards. With new Stamps, DSP, etc you forget that it is the same layout as it changes the card completely.

It is also one of the bonus cards I shared in our June Stamp & Card Club.

Stamp N’ Hop Blog Hop

G’Day Stampers,

Thank you for joining me today as I am once again playing along with the May Stamp ‘N Hop blog hop where we are saying goodbye to the 2018-2019 Annual Catalgue. This way we get to play with some of our favourites one last time .

We are a group of SU! Demos from all over the world sharing their love of Stampin’ Up! We would love for you to join us if you like, but we do ask that you are a current SU! Demo & that you use current SU! products.

I wanted to play with Lovely as a Tree but of course when the time come couldn’t put my hand on it. So I opted for Sheltering Tree which is another retiring. I’ve teamed it up with the 2017-2019 In Colours which are also going!

The tree was stamped in Fresh Fig – only in error – but I love it! The leaves were inked in Lemon Lime Twist & then Fresh Fig & Tranquil Tide daubed on with a Sponge Dauber.

My post today is a very simple one but I think the colours of Fresh Fig & Flirty Flamingo make it pop! I wasn’t sure how the 2 colours would work together but I think they compliment each other. It is also one of the cards we created in our class last Friday.

This set is from 2018 Sale-A-Bration & is the new Stampin’ Up! “DistINKive” Stamp Set! The floral image lays down your ink at different opacities giving the image of a photograph. If you haven’t seen the video, check it out here –

316. Thinking of You – Heartfelt Blooms

I thought I would share with you a card I did some time ago to highlight our Technique Treats – Sponging but never got round to sharing it.

To create my card I sponged Watermelon Wonder, Hello Honey & Tip Top Taupe Inks directly onto a piece of Whisper White Card. I then spritzed water over the top with a Stampin’ Sprizter. The trees from “Lovely as a Tree” were stamped directly over the top using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

I then layered the sponged card onto a piece of Tip Top Taupe Card before layering direct onto a piece of Whisper White. The sentiment was stamped direct onto the Whisper White in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

A piece of Linen Thread was wrapped twice around the card tying a small bow before being layered onto Base Card – Watermelon Wonder.

It’s a very simple card but one with a bit of a punch, I think.

Hello Honey has since been retired but you could subsitite the colour for Delighful Dijon or Crushed Curry.

Sheltering Tree

My card today was one we created in our Technique Class some weeks ago – Block Stamping! The class loved it!

I saw a similar card on Pinterest some time ago, but of course when I went to link back, couldn’t find it, but thank you so much for your inspiration. I did change mine a little, including the layout.
