G’Day Friends,

Thanks so much for dropping by today. It is very much appreciated.

Did you see our Week 1 of Caseing the Mini Catalogue last Sunday? Today, we are back for Week 2, but of course with a completely different case.

Today’s Sketch Layout has been taken from Page 62 of the January-April Mini Catalogue.

Now, neither Robbie or myself know what the other is using on their project as all we have is the Sketch Layout we have created to match the card we are caseing.

If you use Letter size, then head over to Robbie’s Blog to grab her measurements – bearing in mind, they may be a completely style card to mine – while here I will have the Letter Size – Metric & Imperial – for my project.

To download your preferred layout, all you have to do is click on the images, save to your PC or print on A5 paper & save in your Sketch Layout Folder to use over & over again.

To decide on the size of my card, I went by the Slimline Envelopes from the Annual Catalogue, Page 137.

My hand went straight to the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set, which I must admit haven’t used in some time so that is a good thing, right? I went with the colours of the layout as another starting point but of course as they do, the card took a life of its own.

The paper comes from the Dandy Designs DSP, Level 2 of 2023 Sale-a-Bration. I just love these papers.

I must admit that the Dies & Stampin’ Blends have done most of my work for me. I’ve let them shine!

Since the video was created, I’ve added a few more elements to my card since the video, ie White Baker’s Twine & Pearls which I think help finish the card.

Favored Flowers #4 by Stampin’ Up!

G’Day Friends,

So today I have another card to share with you, again using theLevel 1, Favored Flowers DSP from 2023 Sale-a-Bration.

It’s actually the same card I shared with you a couple of days ago which I had cased from the 2023 Sale-a-Bration Brouchure, Page 11.

When I do my lives, instead of creating 2 or 3 cards the same I like to create 1 live & then share a 2nd version & step you through it on how it was created & the colours that weere used.

A Decorative Mask from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks was placed over a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock prior to blending Fresh Freesia Ink over the top with a Blending Brush.

The colours used on today’s card are Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla & Smokey Slate Cardstock. The Garden Green Twine is from the Three Twine Combo Pack.

Once again, the flowers were fussy cut fom a piece of the Favored Flowers DSP before being adhered onto a Vellum die cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals The Vellum circle was then adhered to the card front with Adhesive.

Today’s card is one we created in a FB Live a little time ago but am only just getting around to sharing. It is also one that was cased from Page 11 of the 2023 Sale-a-Bration Brouchure.

Sometimes we look at inspiration from our Catalogues & think we can’t recreate the projects as we don’t have the same product. Well, let me say that you don’t need the same product as this proves that you can use what you have in your stash.

I’ve placed a Decorative Mask from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks over a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock prior to blending Petal Pink Ink over the top with a Blending Brush.

The Pumpkin Pie Twine is from the Three Twine Combo Pack which I think adds more interest to the whole card. The flowers were fussy cut fom a piece of the Favored Flowers DSP before being adhered onto a Vellum die cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals The Vellum circle was then adhered to the card front with Adhesive.

I’ve been playing with the Level 1, Favored Flowers DSP from 2023 Sale-a-Bration the last few days & must say that the more I play, the more I love it. To be honest, it was not one I was drawn to when first seeing it but now, oh boy!

The layout is one that I use quiet often but can change so much when you adding different images, papers, embellishments, etc

Let’s Create –

Adhere a piece of DSP to the bottom of a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock
Adhere the Very Vanilla layer to a layer of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
Adhere the Blackberry Bliss layer to a Thick Very Vanilla Base Card
Stamp a sentiment from Celebrating You Stamp Set onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Adhere the stamped Very Vanilla Cardstock to a layer of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
Adhere the Blackerberry Bliss layer to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals
Fussy cut 2 x flowers from a piece of the DSP prior to adhering to top of sentiment panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals
Randomly adhere 4 x Basic Pearls around flowers
Complete card by adhering 3 x Basic Pearls to right side of card front just above the edge of the DSP – refer to photo for placement

Dainty Delight Bundle by Stampin’ Up!

G’Day Friends,

I hope you have enjoyed my projects created with the Dainty Delight Bundle & the Danity Flowers DSP this month. Today is my last share but if you would like more inspiraton on this Bunde & Papers, be sure to check out the pervious project links along with the video links below.

To create my project, I’ve chopped 2 pieces of the DSP & adhered them to a piece of Basic White Cardstock with a small amount of Basic White showing around all sides of the DSP.

The coloured elements on the card have all been die cut from Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry & Fresh Freesia Cardstock with the Danity Delight Dies. Love it when the dies can do all the work for you & blend in so perfectly with the gorgeous DSP.

The sentiment is from the Dainty Delight Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White Cardstock with Mossy Meadow Ink before being die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies.

It was then adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals before randomly adhering Gorgeous Grape Glossy Dots to the card front too.
