I’ve been trying very hard to have one last play with some of my favourite stamp sets the past few weeks, along with the DSP which is retiring.
Today’s card is one such set – Awesomely Artistic which has been teamed up with Color Theory DSP. I am going to miss this set & DSP Of course you can’t forget the gorgeous Glitter Enamel Dots. In fact, it is one of the cards we created in our Friday’s class a couple of weeks ago. The other half of the class will create it today.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I am participating for the first time in the Stamping Dreams Blog Hopfor September. The theme this month is “Something Different”. It could be a fun fold, a shaker card, a spin card or even a technique.
I decided to go with Scrapbooking & share one of my pages we created last week in our Memories & More Scrapbooking Class. We used the “Pick a Pattern” DSP along with the “Pattern Pieces”,Blender Pens, Stampin’ Write Markers & more to create our page.
The page could be used for a boy or girl. In this case, my page is going down to my niece for her son. Once my page/s have been used for a class I post them off to Bon to add to her albums. I have been doing this for some time now, she enjoys getting the parcel in the post & I enjoy creating them.
Sometimes, I will add photos & journaling to page, other times Bonnie adds her photos & journaling. I think the surprise is not knowing what she will receive in the mail but the albums are slowing growing.
If you click on the link below you will be able to download a free tutorial which includes the product used to create the page plus measurements (metric & imperial).
Thank you so much for stopping by & checking out my project today.

Today I am showing you the card we will be creating in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class this morning. It is not too late to come along – 9.30am – 11.00am. All you have to bring is yourself! Everything is supplied!
I am ashamed to say I haven’t used Cool Treats Stamp Setfor sometime & then only once or twice but never shown you a card created using it.
I’m just loving this cute little stamp set “Message in a Bottle“. So many ideas, so little time! It is perfect for all occasions! In fact, when I first saw this stamp set, I knew what I had to create with it. It has taken me some time, but am happy with the result.
I wanted to show my “Cards @ Toogoom” class how much fun it is to play with the Watercolour Paper ,Aqua Painters& water & I mean water as we really wet our paper. It also doubled as my card for our challenge over on our FB Page.
I did start out sponging Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette & Night of Navy but it wasn’t giving me the result I wanted so I switched over to Powder Pink, Fresh Fig & Tranquil Tide! I then watched the magic happen as no 2 pieces will ever end up the same.
I used Archival Basic Black Ink to stamp my mermaid onto Watercolour Paper. She was coloured with Powder Pink (skin), Lemon Lime Twist (hair), Fresh Fig (cap & bra) & Tranquil Tide for the tail along with an Aqua Painter. Between the colouring of different inks, I let them dry as I didn’t want the colours to run into each other.
