Happy Birthday

For my card today I’ve used the Faux Linen Technique to create my card.  I’ve also used “The Open Sea” (Retired) – the perfect stamp set for a male.

Be sure to pop on over to the “Technique Treats” Page where you are able to purchase a Tutorial showing you more cards using this fun technique.

Sorry for the short post today.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

A Little Thanks

I’ve used the Emboss Resist Technique on my card today.  It happens to be one of the 7 August - TTTechniques from our current Technique Treats, along with the Double Embossing Technique.  I will be honest & say that this is one of my favourite techniques.  All kinds of possibilities.  I’ve also used the “Swirly Bird” Bundle.

I wasn’t too sure what I was going to do with the piece once I had created it, but then decided to cut it into pieces to create a Mosaic Background.  I’m very happy with the card now.

For a Free Tutorial on how I created my card, please click on the link above the photo.  It also includes all the supplies & measurements (Imperial & Metric).

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Bon Voyage

G’day Stampers,

Time seems to be flying by of late but I have been busy creating & will be sharing again as 5 June - TTof this week.  Of course, the free tutorials will still be available with the cards.

Today’s card is one I did playing with one of the techniques from the current Technique Treats – Split Negative & Spotlighting, so I thought I would see what I could come up using my extra piece left over from the Split Negative Technique, as you always end up with an extra piece.

20160610_094029_resizedwm-bAs I couldn’t find “Teeny Tiny Sentiments” at the time of creating my card, I printed “Bon Voyage” direct onto Very Vanilla Card in Early Espresso Ink & punched it out with one of my new favourite toys – the Classic Label Punch.

If you haven’t purchased any of the Technique Treats, be sure to pop over to the Technique Treats Page to find out what it is all about & to purchase your favourite Treat.  We have had great feedback which is always good to hear.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
