Is it too early to start creating Christmas Cards?
Last week we created a shaker card using the Jar of Love Stamp Set, the Everyday Jar Framelits along with the Home for Christmas Stamp Set& the Hometown Greetings Edgelits. I will be honest & say since purchasing the Everyday Jar Framelits I’ve wanted to create one of these cards so this was the perfect opportunity to do so. The class loved it! Something a little different & one that you can use for all occasions. Don’t forget to try different shapes for your shaker cards.

Our card today is one we created in our class a couple of weeks ago. You may have seen the 1st one I shared with youalready. I love it when I can get multiple uses from my Stamps & Dies & this is just one of those occasions where I am doing a happy dance & created Beach Huts. You can see another card I created using the same Edgelits here.
In our classes we have started on Techniques & the ladies are loving them. I have a list that they would like to try out so that saves me trying to think of new ones to teach.
Don’t forget you are able to download the Technique Tutorials for FREE by clicking on the Free Techniques TutorialsPage. Yes, SU! Demos are able to use them for their classes too. The page will be updated every 2 weeks with new techniques.

Today’s post is a little different in that I am going to be sharing with you easy Techniques that you will be able to create in your own home & with the supplies you have on hand.
These techniques will appear on my blog every 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month, along with instructions for a card using the technique. The technique tutorial will also be available which you will be able to download, file in a folder & keep on hand to use or to refer back to at a later date.
Yes, SU! Demos are able to use them for your classes, workshops & demonstrations. It just means that all the work is done for you, except of course your samples.
To file your tutorials all you have to do is purchase one of the 6” x 8″ Albums& a pack of the 6″ x 8″ Variety Packof Photo Pocket Pages.
This means that you will have 2 options in the way you file your tutorials.
Option 1 – Detailed tutorial in the full page pocket & the tips & tutorial in the 2 pocket page.
Option 2 – Shorter tutorial & sample side by side using the 4 pocket page. There is also a sheet of Products used plus Measurements (Metric & Imperial) that you are able to print & tuck behind your tutorial if you wish.
You can find the Technique Tutorials by clicking on the Technique Tutorials Page.
My card today is one we created in our class a couple of weeks ago. We don’t have snow at Christmas in Australia so I tried to create a bush Christmas. I’ve use the “Hearts Come Home” Bundle, Page 39 of the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. The Bundle includes the “Hearts Come Home” Stamp Set& the “Hometown Greetings” Edgelits Dies. I teamed it up with the “Hearth & Home” Thinlitsto create my theme. Santa racing through the sky finishes off the scene.
