July Stamp n’ Hop Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Today I am hopping along with a lovely group of SU! Demonstrators from all over the world.  You are free to join us if you like, but we do ask that you be a current SU! Demo & that you use current SU! products.

It has been so long since I’ve hopped along with them so fingers crossed it will be continue.

Welcome to our July Hop.  This month we are showcasing our favourite Bundle!  You may have just arrived from Liz’s blog where she shared her lovely project with her favourite Bundle.  If you have started from my blog, all you have to do is click on the next arrow below to continue.

There are so many lovely Bundles in the Annual Catalogue that I had a hard time choosing my favourite.  So when in doubt, I closed my eyes & hoped for the best.  Just happens Flowers of Friendship Bundle IS one of my favourites!

I’ve kept the layout fairly simple as I wanted the Bundle to POP!

Along with the simple layout, I decided to go with a colour combination way out of my comfort zone of Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Basic White & Night of Navy as the Base Card.  What do you think?  I am happy with the combination.

To download your free PDF Tutorial, all you have to do is click on the link.

963.  Little Card, Big Thanks – Flowers of Friendship Bundle

Thanks again for visiting my blog today. Be sure to click on all the links during this hop as it always interesting to see what everyone comes up with & how many ideas we can get from visiting.  Of course, a little love on the way of comments will surely be a lovely surprise to hoppers too.  Next up is my friend Jenn.  Next-Blog-UpdatePlease feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Chat & Create – Stamping for Ava

G’Day Friends,

Today I am sharing something a little different with you.

Last Friday, we had a very fun morning of chatting, drinking cups of tea & coffee, with lots of laughing, eating, singing, dancing & crafting!  All with little Ava & her family at the backs of our minds.  You can read all about Ava’s Journey here.

The event was sort of spur of the moment about 1 month before the day so we just went with the flow – if it can happen this way!  Happy to report it went off without a hitch & with a handful of volunteers to help us make the day so successful & fun.  Of course, you can’t forget all the many volunteers behind the scenes who never let us down with their yummy homemade sweets & entrees.  Thank you so much!

We had 9 tables which seated 6 to each table except for 2, which seated 8.  You can imagine the designing, cutting & prepping for each card.  I also had to bear in mind that 99% of the ladies had never stamped before the event!  Each table had 2 different designs.  That’s 18 designs!!!!!

Anyhow, we got there with each of them creating 2 cards each with lots doing 3, 4 & 5.  A lot of them shocked themselves with what they created.  I will say the imagination on some of the projects was fantastic.  No 2 were alike.  They loved walking around for show & tell, shocked to find that each table had completely different cards – lol!

We even had a little 4 year boy who was with his Nana & created 2 cards – 1 for mum & 1 for his Daycare Teacher!  He was so proud.  He then found me later on to have a little twist on the dancefloor with him.  He had dumped his Nana!!!!

Dino Days

G’Day Stampers,

Before I get onto today’s card, I’m happy to say that I have just uploaded new PDF Tutorials for purchase. Simply click on the PDF Tutorial Sale Page. In the next couple of days, there will be more uploaded for you to choose.

Today I am sharing with you a Tripple Pop-Up Card that I created a few weeks ago. It has been sitting on my desk waiting to be finished which I managed to do this morning.

I’ve used the Granny Apple Green DSP from the Brights 6 x 6 DSP Pack along with Whisper White & Granny Apple Green Cardstock.

I’ve teamed the colours with the fun Dino Days Stamp Set as I thought the colours were bright & fun for kids. In fact all the stamping is from the Brights Colour FamilyGorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody & Pacific Point. The palm trunks have been stamped in Early Espresso Ink.

The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set & stamped in Pacific Point Ink before die cutting with a shape from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I don’t have a tutorial for you today but if you google Tripple Pop-Up Card, a lot of videos & tutorials will pop up that you will be able to check out.
