Boughs & Blossoms – Make n Take #6

G’Day Friends,

Today is Make n Take #6 which I created from Bron’s lovely creation.

As I didn’t have the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle at the time of our #WCMG Fun Day, I went with the sweet little Boughs & Blossoms Bundle from the 2022 January-June Mini Catalogue.

The Base Card is So Saffron Cardstock while the DSP is from the Sale-a-Bration Level 1 Simply Marbleous DSP.  These papers are so much fun.

The sentiment was stamped onto a panel of Basic White in Grey Granite, So Saffron & Poppy Parade Inks.  I am loving the 3 different colours.  The leaves were stamped onto the same Basic White in Grey Granite Ink.

The flowers were stamped in Poppy Parade Ink prior to being fussy cut & arranged over the stamped leaves & adhered to the Basic White Panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The fancy Grey Granite edge was cut with the die from the Penned Flowers Dies.

The card was finished off with 3 of the Gilded Gems.

Awesome Otters – Make n Take #2

G’Day Friends,
I spent Saturday crafting online with a lovely group of friends in our World Card Making Group – #WCMG.  It was a full on day showcasing the Sale-a-Bration & the Mini Catlaogues.  We shared lots of lovely projects with videos, tips & ideas.  You are more than welcome to join us if you like.
As it is Monday, it means it’s Manly Monday,  I thought I would share one of the cards that I created from Annette’s lovely project.  Perfect for the kids!
Both the cute Awesome Otters Stamp Set & the Simply Marbleous DSP are Level 1 Sale-a-Bration items that you are able to receive for free when spending $90AUD.
My card has been created using scraps of DSP & Cardstock so I actually went with what I had.  The cute little otters have been coloured & blended with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, while the hat is Manago Melody & Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set, stamped onto So Saffron Cardstock in Night of Navy Ink, chopped back to size & shape before being adhered to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
You can watch Annette’s video by clicking on  this link.

Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop – January 2022

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for joining me today.  Once again I am joining Kylie & Bruno’s  Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop!

We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin’ Up!® business and to reach goals we have set ourselves.  Your support is really appreciated.

You may be starting here – Vicky Wright – or have come from another blog – either way you can find the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

I randomly selected a piece of the lovely Simply Marblevous Paper – Level 1 from Sale-a-Bration & then had to decide what colours to use so I opted for Garden Green & Gorgeous Grape.

The DSP was randomly chopped into 3 pieces before adhering to a piece of the Gorgeous Grape Cardstock ensuring that the patterns match in & leaving a small amount of Gorgeous Grape around all sides.  This layer was then adhered to a Garden Green Base Card.

The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White in Garden Green Ink & die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

The larger butterfly from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set was stamped in Gorgeous Grape Ink, die cut with the matching Nature’s Thoughts Dies bfeore being adhered to the left side of the sentiment.

The 2 little buttterflies have been die cut from Blushing Bride Cardstock with Nature’s Thoughts Dies before being randomly adhered to the card front.

The card has been finished off with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Once again, thank you so much for popping by today!

Feature of the Week – Simply Marbleous DSP #1

I do hope you have all had a great weekend.  If you are anywhere near the waters, please take care.

Thank you to everyone who reached out asking if I was ok & yes all is good as we have not been affected.

I have been playing with the lovely Simply Marbleous DSP from Sale-a-Bration of late & am loving the colours & patterns although I seem to be gearing towards the one side in particular.

This Paper is Level 1 which you can earn for FREE when spending $90!

Not only will I be showcasing the papers, but I will also be showcasing the ever so versatile Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set – perfect for all occasions especially Manly Monday!

First up I had to decide what colours I could use with the Smokey Slate sheet of Paper so I opted for Daffodil Delight, Garden Green with Basic White tossed in too.  Way out of my comfort zone but hey it is always good to try new combinations.

The DSP was randomly chopped into 3 pieces before adhering to a piece of Garden Green Cardstock ensuring that the patterns match in & leaving a small amount of Garden Green around all sides.  This layer was then adhered to a Smokey Slate Base Card.

I stamped a sentiment from Inspired Thoughts onto scrap Basic White with Smokey Slate Ink prior to die cutting with the Messages Dies & adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped an image from Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight Ink prior to fussy cutting, trimming part of the stem a little & adhering to the top of the sentiment shape with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

To finish the card, I grabbed a couple of the new Classic Matte Dots which are available in the new Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue & adhered these to the front.  I think they finished the card off perfectly.

I wasn’t too sure how this colour combination would work but I have to admit I think they work in well together, don’t you?
