G’Day Stampers,

Today is I am sharing with you one of the cards we created in class last Friday. I wanted to show the class that you could do more with your Embossing Folders then just emboss Cardstock. We did a little sponging over the top of the embossed card. It is only a little thing but it made our cards come alive! Dragonfly-Dreams---Inside

I originally created the card for one of our challenges some time ago & thought it perfect for a class as it involves a few different things including using the Blender Pen which is how we coloured our Bumble Bee from the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set. We also used the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.

G’Day Stampers,

I am slowly trying to get back into my blogging – been off the air for a few days.

By now you will have heard that the new Catalogue has gone live. Exciting for everyone Varied-Vases---Inside as it is packed full of gorgeous product. Stampin’ Up! never seem to disappoint.

One of the 1st sets I purchased in my pre-order was the Varied Vases Bundle – stamp set & Punch. It is such a lovely set with 34 pieces & of course you must have the coordinating Vase Builder Punch. I can see myself using this lots.

It has been designed by Mary Fish for hitting the million dollar sales milestone. Congratulations Mary!

My card today is one that we created in our Colouring Class. We stamped the vase in Pool Party & coloured & blended it with Pool Party & a Blender Pen. The flowers were coloured with a Blender Pen & Lovely lipstick.

I’m taking part in Kylie’s International Highlights Hop this month where it is all about Sarah which means we can share what we love with others. She has demonstrators thinking of ways that we can make a difference in the lives of others. Usually the people that get forgotten are the ones that are putting forth amazing ideas just like Sara.

My card is one we created in our colouring class a few weeks ago. I have shared it on the Demos Page but not with you so I thought this would be the perfect card for Sara. Remarkable-You---Inside I love the Remarkable You Stamp Set. We used our Blender Pens & Pacific Point Ink to colour & blend our flowers while Old Olive was used for the leaves.

The colours are way out of my comfort zone but that is what teaching is all about – to take a risk & create something different. Happy to report the class loved it.

Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop

Once again I am hopping along with the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop. The hop includes International Demos from all over the world.

This month we have a sketch to play along with & one which I seem to have had a hard time creating but I think it was me overthinking things.
