Card # 2….

…  for our Technique Class a little while ago.
I love the final outcome of this card – simple little card, different fold, but with a bit of a WOW!  The class loved it!  Mind you, it is always a load off my mind when the ladies love the cards.  It is not my usual colours but that is the best part about classes – they get you out of your comfort zone!
As an added bonus, we created an envelope to fit our card using the “Envelope Punch Board“!

Happy Birthday Wishes

This card was created for a friend of mine for her birthday early last month.  Yep, I’ve just gotten round to posting it.  Where does the time go?

I did see the card on Pinterst & thought I would have a go.  Thank you so much for your inspiration.

I run a piece of Whisper White through the BS using Decorative Dots EF.  This was he adhered to a piece of Soft Sky Card & finally to the Base Card – Whisper White.003---blog

The vase was created by using a Framelit from the Ovals Collection & then embossing with the Beautifully Baroque EF prior to adhering to Base Card.

I stamped 3 x large flowers from Flower Shop & 3 x small flowers from Petite Petals in Pink Pirouette, punched with the corresponding Pansy & Petite Petals Punches.  The smaller flowers were adhered to the centre of the larger flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals prior to adhering to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals & placing Pearl Basic Jewel to the centre of each flower.

The leaves were punched using the Bird Builder Punch from Wild Wasabi Card & randomly adhered to the card.

Happy Birthday Wishes” from Petite Pairs, was stamped straight onto Wisher White Card in Melon Mambo Ink, punched out with the Extra-Large Oval Punch prior to adhering to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I do apologise for not having any measurements or instructions for today’s card, but the list of supplies I used may be found below.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

2015 Calendar

Today’s share is my first calendar for 2015.  It is getting to that time of the year & with a market coming up this Sunday, thought it would be great 006-blogto make a start on my calendars for next year.  I enjoy creating them & find them to be very popular.

To download a free copy of the A5 Landscape 2015 Calendar, please click on the link at the bottom of this post.

To create my calendar, I printed out the year onto A5 photo copy paper, trimmed back a little from both sides, as I like a little of the coloured Card to be showing all around the edge.  I punched 2 holes with the Handheld 1/16″ Circle Punch at the top of the calendar & inserted a Mini Brad into each hole.

For the top of the calendar, I stamped 3 flowers from the Flower Shop Stamp Set, coloured with Coastal Cabana & Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities, added small dots with the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker before punching out with the Pansy Punch.

I adhered small strips of Coastal Cabana Card to a piece of Rich Razzleberry DSP prior to adhering to a piece of Whisper White Card & finally to a piece of Rich Razzleberry Card which I had cut back to 8 1/4″ x 9″.

The “2015” was printed onto a scrap of Whisper White Card, punched with the Large Oval Punch & adhered to a piece of Coastal CabanaCard which has been punched with the Scallop Oval Punch prior to adhering to top of calendar.

The flowers were adhered to the calendar top – centre one with a Stampin’ Dimensional & the other 2 with Multipurpose Glue.

To complete the calendar, the months were adhered to the bottom of the Rich Razzleberry Card leaving a small edge around all 4 sides.  Pearls were adhered to the centre of each flower as well as randomly scattering around the top of the calendar.

Be sure to check back over the next couple of weeks, as more will be added, including different calendar sizes.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Technique Classes…

Our classes for the new year are now back up & running.  It was great to catch up with everyone, have our normal “Show & Tell” & hear how everyone did at Christmas & New Year.

To showcase some of the gorgeous SAB products you can earn this year, our 1st card was created using the DSP – Sweet Sorbet.  To earn FREE products during SAB, all you have to do is append over $90.00 excluding P&H.  SAB begins Tuesday, 28 January, but as a Demonstrator I get to pre-order.

To start the new year, we did a little bit of “Heat Embossing“.  I like to go over techniques every now & then so that we can familiarise ourselves with them and it helps with the new crafters who have joined our group.

Birthday Wishes…

…with Sale-A-Bration!

As I’ve mentioned previously in a post a couple of days ago, the DSP for SAB this year are gorgeous & I can’t seem to get enough of them.  Mind you, it did take me a little time & a lot of courage to cute into the pack, but now that I am, I can’t stop using them.

Today’s card is one I cased from Pinterest by Susan Harr.  I love that I can check this site out & find anything I want, especially when your mind is taking its time to get back into the creative mode from being on leave for a couple of weeks.  Casing cards will help you get into the creative zone again!

In fact, it is another one of my Birthday Cards I created for my birthdays this month.
