Have you seen the gorgeous “Lovely Lattice” Stamp Set form Sale-A-Bration? It is just so! I will admit I haven’t used it much but when I do I think “Why haven’t I used this more”. In fact, this card went off in the mail some time ago to a lovely Demo who welcomed myself & a friend into her home for a team get together. Thank you so much Liz!

I have been trying to get back into blogging but it is taking sometime for it to happen. Today I woke up & decided that today was the beginning, so fingers crossed that it happens as I have so much to share with you.
Today’s cad is one I created sometime ago when I first received my pre-order created with the lovely “Incredible Like You“. I love this little set! In fact, it is one of the cards that my new subscribers received. I like to change the card & tutorial each month.

Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me in the recent Blog Hop. It is always very much appreciated. It is also a very huge surprise that I am sometimes one of the lucky ones who get to hop along with Kylie & 10 lucky Demos.
Once again our theme is “Encouragement”. I love this type of card as it can cover lots of bases & for anyone. My card went in the mail yesterday to a special someone. If you would like to have a card posted to you please fill out this form & one will be on its way.
I teamed the DSP with the Hello Cupcake from the 2019 Sale-A-Bration which you can earn FREE when you spend $90.00. Now I have a confession to make. I know the set is all about cupcakes, but to me they look like ice creams.
By clicking on the tutorial link below, you will be able to download it to create your own “Pleated Skirt”.

Today I am sharing with you a card we created last Friday in our Cards @ Toogoom class. It is a very simple & easy card but we’ve used the Spotlighting Technique which suits the Botanical Butterfly DSP perfectly. Remember, this DSP can only be earnt FREE while Sale-A-Bration is happening when you purchase product to the value of $90.
To colour my DSP, I used the Watercolour Pencils, but you could also use the Stampin’ Blends, Aqua Painter, Sponge Daubers to create different effects.
In fact in the next couple of weeks I will show you others that I’ve created using this fun technique.
I love sending out encouragement cards or “Just Because”. Isn’t this one of the reasons we create? Do you know of anyone you can send encouragement to? Maybe a Get Well Soon – or WOW, You are Amazing, even a Thank You card? I’m sure they would appreciate it.
I’ve had bits sitting on my desk that were waiting to be used. They were either from previous cards that didn’t suit or just sitting waiting to be used. So instead of ditching the pieces I thought I would try & create with what I had. All I had to do was the Base Card!
My card today is one I had created when I first received my pre-order (yes, it has been sitting on my desk for that long) waiting for me to decide what to do with it.
You may notice that there are no butterflies in the Bloom by Bloom Stamp Set but as I always stamp onto scrap paper first, I saw a few little butterflies popping out from the scrap paper & had to try them. Love it when you get multiple uses from our stamps, don’t you?

Thank you to everyone who voted for me last month as I happened to be one of the Top Ten winners.
This month the theme is Encouragement.
Do you know anyone you can send encouragement to? Maybe a Get Well Ssoon – or WOW, You are Amazing, even a Thank You card? This is a great way to think of something that you want to build up and give some love. Another option that I use a lot is “Just Because”.
Do you recognize my card? I will be honest with you & say my inspiration came from the front cover of the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. It just goes to show that inspiration can come from everywhere.
To create my card I’ve used my favourite DSP from the Occasions Catalogue & that is theGingham Gala. I’ve teamed it up with a stamp set that I just can’t seem to get enough of & that is theBloom by Bloomset. I didn’t really think I would like it but oh how I was wrong!
By clicking on the link below you will be able to download a free tutorial to create your own card. The tutorial includes both the products used & the measurements (metric & imperial).
