8 x 8 OSW Card #1 with Hidden Creek Collection

G’Day Friends,

I have a new Collection to share with you for our Anything Goes Saturday.  This Collection is way out of my comfort zone but I love everything about it.  It’s good to get out of your comfort zone, right?

Be sure to click HERE to check out what Robbie has created.

I decided to go with square cards throughout the month for this Collection.  I think they may look even more special with this type of card.

Don’t you love the colours & the butterflies?  The flowers are just so dainty too.  I can see myself creating with this Collection until the cows come home!

Supplies

  • Hidden Creek Collection – Arden Creative Studio
  • Square Cards & Envelopes – Uniquely Creative
  • Old Olive Cardstock – Stampin’ Up!
  • Spotlight on Nature Dies – Stampin’ Up!

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Sweet Shabby Easter for Lavender Blu Designs Team Project

G’Day Friends,

Are you ready for another Design Team project?  This time Fiona from Lavender Blu Journals has released a Sweet Shabby Easter Kit, although my card isn’t really shabby.

Click HERE to shop Fiona’s Esty shop.

I decided to create with little snippets from here & there of the Kit.  I love it when I can do that.

This card is perfect for the Easter Cards we are currently creating for the Homemade Cards for Seniors Australia Group.   If you are in Australia & would like to join in, please click on the link to request to join.  Currently we are creating Easter Cards until mid-March.

I am loving the lovely soft pastel colours in this Kit – soft blues, pinks, apricots & purples.

The eggs were printed twice, with one lot being adhered straight onto the paper while the 2nd lot were popped up with Dimensional Tape.  In saying that I did add a couple of extra ones to the fold.  Can you pick them?  I repeated the same process for the flowers.

Supplies

Cardstock –

  • Basic White Smooth – Paper Rose Studio
  • Fresh Freesia – Stampin’ Up!

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Rococo Romance Valentine’s Day Digital Papers | Lavender Blu Journal Design Team Project

G’Day Friends,

It’s time to share another Design Team project with you but this time it’s for Lavender Blu Journals.   Click on the link to shop Fiona’s Esty shop.

I wanted to prove to myself that I could create a simple & easy card using the Rococo Romance Valentine’s Day Junk Journal Kit without being a Valentine’s Day card.  I really love it when you are able to use papers other ways other than what they were supposed to be used for.

I am loving the pretty flowers on this paper although I found them a little bold for me.  So with that in mind & if you know me, I went chop, chop, chopping!  In fact, 6 pieces!

The sentiment was stamped direct onto the paper prior to a circle being punched with a Circle Punch & adhered to a Very Vanilla punched circle.

Supplies

Cardstock –

  • Very Vanilla – Stampin’ Up!
  • Mossy Meadow – Stampin’ Up!

Thanks for stopping by today, it is really appreciated.

Until next time, Happy Crafting – Vicky
