Terracotta Tile #3

G’Day Friends,

Today is Day 3 of showcasing the lovely rich Terracotta  Tile  2019-2021  In  Colour?

Again, I’ve teamed it up with the thee Ornate Garden Specialty DSP along with the Ornate Layers Dies & the Ornate Style Stamp Set.

The sentiment is from the Level 1, Heal Your Heart Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set.

The sunflower was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, coloured & blended with Stampin’ Blends of Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake & Old Olive.

The frame was then adhered to the left side of the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Terracotta Tile, die cut with the Layering Ovals Dies before being adhering to a scallop oval die cut from Terracotta Tile with the same Layering Ovals Dies.

It was popped up to the Card Front with a Stampin’ Dimensional on the right side & Adhesive on the left side.

I finished the card off with a  cute little Terracotta Tile Butterfly Gems.

Have you noticed that I’ve been using these lovely little Butterfly Gems on all my cards?

Terracotta Tile Day #2

G’Day Friends,

Are you ready for Day 2 of showcasing the lovely rich Terracotta  Tile  2019-2021  In  Colour?

Again, I’ve gone with the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP but this time round teamed it up with Early Espresso & Level 1, Heal Your Heart Stamp Set.

Can you tell I am a little obsessed with this Set.  I just love the font as well as the sentiments.

This time I’ve randomly chopped m DSP into 3’s prior to adhering to the Early Espresso Cardstock.

When adhering the DSP, ensure that you are matching the pattern of the DSP & if you have to chop, chop from the outer edges of the DSP so that you keep your pattern.  I love creating & using my DSP this way!

The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso Ink onto Basic White, die cut with the Layering Circles Dies & adhered to a Early Espresso scallop circle which was die cut with the same dies.

It’s a fairly simple card but one that i wanted the Terracotta Tile & the DSP to shine.

I finished the card off with a couple of the cute little Terracotta Tile Butterfly Gems.

Rococo Rose #3

G’Day Friends,

Today is Day #3 of Robbie & myself showcasing the lovely Rococo Rose which is part of the 2019-2021 In Colours.

It is also one I created for our class last week where we played with a little bit of folding the Paper Bloom DSP to create a skirt & added it to our card.

The background was embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder – one of my favourites – prior to adding it to a piece of Merry Merlot Cardstock.

The flower has been die cut with the Pierced Blooms Dies & die cut with Merry Merlot before being added to the Card Front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  The centre was die cut from a scrap of Basic White with the same dies.  The leaf is Mint Macaron & die cut once again with the same dies.

The sentiment is from the Under the Umbrella Stamp Set.

No bling on my card today & not much stamping either.  I wanted to keep it simple so that the DSP skirt was the star of the show.

A Touch of Ink #3

G’Day Friends,

Today is Day #3 of showcasing the lovely Level 2, A Touch of Ink Stamp Set which can be yours when spending $180 or more BUT only while Sale-a-Bration is happening – ends 28 February!

I hope you’ve been enjoying my cards this week with the lovely Rococo Rose?  I know I’ve enjoyed creating them.  Of course it is one of the colours retiring this year so if you love this colour, best to purchase it now!

This time round I’ve pulled out the Decorative Masks to create my background.  It is very soft which gives the whole card a very soft effect, don’t you think?

A Touch of Ink is a 2-step stamping Stamp Set which is what I did for my flower.  The outline is in Rococo Rose while the solid image is Blushing Bride but I stamped off first onto scrap paper before filling in the outline.

Rococo Rose #2

G’Day Friends,

This is Day 2 of Robbie & myself showcasing the lovely 2019-2021 In Colours over on our FB Pages.  Be sure to join us there.

Once again, my card is very simple to create but one that I think is lovely & clean so that it showcases the elements of the card perfectly.

This time round I’ve pulled out one of my favourites – Timeless Tropical Stamp Set.   It has been teamed up with the lovely Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.

The flower was stamped with Blushing Bride Ink while the leaves are Mini Macaron Ink.  The images were die cut with the matching dies from In the Tropics Dies.

The sentiment is from the Floral Essence Stamp Set.

The Base Card is again Rococo Rose along with the piece across the middle.  I am loving this colour & will be so sorry to see it leave us.

I finished the card off with a couple of 3 Clear Rhinestones..
