Birthday Place Card & Tag

If you saw my Invitation for Simone a couple of days ago, then you will be happy to know that it didn’t stop there.

We then decided to create Place Cards for everyone as well as Tags for their little gifts as a way of saying Thank You.  Simone travelled all the way home from England for her “Special Day” & this is the perfect way to catch up with close friends & family at once.

Again my “Frangipani” was created using the”Botanical Builder” Dies & sponged in So 004wm-pc-blogSaffron with a Sponge Dauber.  The Splatter Image from “Gorgeous Grunge” was randomly stamped in Soft Sky (Beach & Sky), the font colour is Night of Navy, the Leaf is Pear Pizzazz.  To finish it off, I scattered small Pearls.

001awm-fbThe Tag was created the same as the Place Card.  The small verse was printed via my Printer.   The top of the Tag was punched using the “Scalloped Tag Topper” Punch.  I didn’t have to add Ribbon as it was going to added later & to match in with the cake.

I even created a Birthday Card for Simone which matched in with all her Stationery, but once I find the photo, I will share it with you.

I hope you like the sharing of the Birthday Stationery today.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Birthday Invitation

Last month I was asked if I could do create Birthday Invitations for a friend’s birthday.  Of course, I said yes (this is my other business doing invitations).  As the special party is going to be held at a beach resort I set about thinking of something fresh & beachy but not with shells, if possible.

I had the “Botanical Builder” Dies still sitting on my desk, so thought I would try & create something with them.  After a little play, a light bulb went off & I turned the flowers into “Frangipanis” – well sort of & the rest just flowed from there.

Everyone loved their Invitations & Diann (Simone’s Mum) has had a lot of lovely feedback.

To see the rest of the set, be sure to check back in a couple of days.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

SC 088/13…

I am a little late in posting my challenge sample for the current challenge over at Sunny Challenges & Creations.  Been having a little trouble with Blogger.

It was Kris’ turn to give us our challenge & this week all we had to do was use that great new fantastic product – Washi Tape somewhere on our card!

I decided to try something different this week & created a set of 6 invitations using Washi Tape BUT also using MDS as well as normal ink & card.

I have actually cased this from the current Catalogue, Page 11.  I did change it a little to suit what I wanted.  It could easily be created using the actual Stamp Sets, which I have but decided to go with MDS for a change.

Supplies –
Stamp Set – 134850 – MDS Cycle Celebration Stamp Brush Set
133019 – MDS Make a Wish Stamp Brush Set

Birthday…

I can post this now!
This is one of the place cards I made for Robyn the other day for her Birthday Dinner.  I kept it to the Black & White as I think tese colours are very elegant, classt & fresh.  I decided to make them very girlish, but not over the top, so using the Stamp Set – Fifth Avenue – stamped the flower in the left hand corner and then embossed.  They turned out really lovely & was really pleased with the outcome.

As I’ve never used this stamp set previously, I had to borrow from Jenny – Thanks – and boy am I giving it a good ol’ workout!  It is a really plain, but a very soft and lovely set.

Will post a couple more of this set when I have finished them.
Have a great day!
Vicky
