Our card today is one we created in our class a couple of weeks ago. You may have seen the 1st one I shared with youalready. I love it when I can get multiple uses from my Stamps & Dies & this is just one of those occasions where I am doing a happy dance & created Beach Huts. You can see another card I created using the same Edgelits here.
In our classes we have started on Techniques & the ladies are loving them. I have a list that they would like to try out so that saves me trying to think of new ones to teach.
Don’t forget you are able to download the Technique Tutorials for FREE by clicking on the Free Techniques TutorialsPage. Yes, SU! Demos are able to use them for their classes too. The page will be updated every 2 weeks with new techniques.

I was wide awake at about 3.30am the other morning & this idea sort of popped into my head, so of course I had to try it out immediately. I’m happy to say it worked & that I am more than excited that I can now use the set for multiple occasions. Gotta love it when you can get multiple uses from your products.
I’ve taken the layout for the card from a sketch that I gave to my team sometime ago & thought it would be good to revisit the same sketch but with different supplies. You can see the original card by clicking here. I think I’ve hit the mark with this one. Don’t you?
The “berries” are from the same stamp set & randomly stamped in BerryBurst. The Tranquil Tide Ribbon was layered across the top of the Painted Autumn DSP & then the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon (it’s so pretty) across the middle of that.
The stamped wreath was die cut with the circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits before being layered onto a scallop circle die cut from the Layering Circles Framelits.
The sentiment is from the Hearts Come Home set & was stamped direct onto Whisper White in Berry Burst.
The card was layered onto Lemon Lime Twist & then to the Base Card – Tranquil Tide.

Today’s post is a little different in that I am going to be sharing with you easy Techniques that you will be able to create in your own home & with the supplies you have on hand.
These techniques will appear on my blog every 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month, along with instructions for a card using the technique. The technique tutorial will also be available which you will be able to download, file in a folder & keep on hand to use or to refer back to at a later date.
Yes, SU! Demos are able to use them for your classes, workshops & demonstrations. It just means that all the work is done for you, except of course your samples.
This means that you will have 2 options in the way you file your tutorials.
Option 1 – Detailed tutorial in the full page pocket & the tips & tutorial in the 2 pocket page.
Option 2 – Shorter tutorial & sample side by side using the 4 pocket page. There is also a sheet of Products used plus Measurements (Metric & Imperial) that you are able to print & tuck behind your tutorial if you wish.
You can find the Technique Tutorials by clicking on the Technique Tutorials Page.
Once again I’ve been playing with the Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies& have been wanting to use them other than for Christmas. We created 2 cards in our class on Friday using the same Dies but both very different which I will share with you later on in the week.
For my card today, I cut 3 of the houses from Whisper White CSusing the smaller Die & then cut them back to the size & shape I wanted before colouring with the Watercolour Pencilsso that they looked like beach huts.
For my scene, I masked off a circle for the sun punched using the 1/2” Circle Punch & then coloured with the Watercolour Pencils. Once the mask was removed I lightly coloured the sun with the Daffodil Delight Pencil & carried it through onto the ocean. The sun was highlighted with the Clear Wink of Stella.
A circle has been cut into a piece of Whisper White CS overlapping on the left hand side of the Card using the Layering Circles Framelits.
The branch has been stamped in Crumb Cake while the flowers are in Daffodil Delight. To pop them a little more, I then added Pumpkin Pie to the centres & blended with the Blender Pen.
The piece of scenery was then adhered behind the stamped Whisper white & trimmed from the left hand side before layering onto a piece of Crumb Cake CS& then to the Base Card – Bermuda Bay. The beach huts were then adhered in place with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Where does the time go? In saying that it is that time again where I am once again playing along with Kylie’s International Blog Highlights.
This month the theme is “Sympathy“. It is not something we like to create but as I am down a little on this type of card, I have been creating a few for an upcoming event, so perfect timing. The only problem was which one to showcase for this hop?

… meets “Christmas in the Making” which is on Page 16 of the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. I love it when I can get multiple uses from my stamps.
I actually love the “Feeling of Christmas” on the same page but left it too late for my order to arrive in time for the class, so I set about trying to recreate the card on Page 17 of the Catalogue using one of my sets in my stash. I think I did it, although a little different, but different is good!
My card today is one of the 2 we created in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class. I am happy to say the ladies loved it!
I am trying to get back into the swing of things but I am finding it hard to do. Once you get out of a routine, it is sometimes very had to get back into it.
My card today is one we created last Friday in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class. The ladies loved how you could use it for all occasions. It has been created using the lovely little “Beachy Little Christmas” set from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. I fact, I will be honest & say this is my favourite set in the catalogue.
I know the catalogue is jam packed with gorgeous new product, but this set screams “ME!”. It is a wonder you didn’t hear me yelling from where you live as I was so happy to see something like this. Thank you Stampin’ Up!

I am sharing with you today one of the cards we will be creating in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class. We would love for you to come along & create with us.
I saw this fold over on Pinterest a little while ago but now of course I am unable to find the link, but I managed to do one better & actually found the blog. Thank you so much Jeanie for your inspiration even though it was one created in error, I loved that it was so different!
I’ve used the lovely Painted Harvest Suite to create our card. The Suite includes the Painted Harvest Stamp Set, Leaf Punchwhich can be purchased as a Bundle & the Painted Autumn DSP. It took me a little time to actually purchase this set, but I must tell you, it is so much fun playing with it. I especially love the fact that it gives you a gorgeous watercolur look to all your creations.
Tips to help you with the 2-Step Stampin’ set –
Stamp the centre first. This helps to centre your flower
Stamp the larger flower next but in a lighter contrasting ink. This flower will look like it may be missing part of the stamp, but this is ok
Stamp the smaller flower 2nd & in a darker contrasting ink. You will be amazed at how the flower will come together
For more definition, stamp the larger flower once again in the same colour ink as the first time. Your flower will just about pop off your Card
I do hope the ladies are going to love creating this card.
By clicking on on the link below, you will be able to download a tutorial to create your own card.
If you pop back in a few days time, I will also share with you another one I created using the same fold.

Welcome to the Top Ten Winners Blog Hop! Do you remember my post from a couple of weeks ago asking for you to vote? Check it out by clicking on “Teacher’s Gifts”. Because of your votes, myself & other lucky talented Demonstrators get to hop along with Kylie (Australia’s #1 Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator). I feel very honoured to be among this group, so thank you once again!
You are visiting from Corinne Blakewho is from the USA. I do hope you enjoyed Connie’s lovely creation.
Last month the theme was Teacher’s Gifts. Well, for this blog hope, it is the same theme but creating a new item. I did started out with butterflies in my head but now that I’ve finished it, they do look like funny sort of butterflies. Yep, I picked up the wrong item, but never mind, I am happy with the project & more than happy with the colours.
The leaves were stamped onto a scrap piece of Whisper white CS, first with Lemon Lime Twist, then with Old Olive, punched with the Leaf Punch, scored down the middle to give them dimensional before adhering to the flowers. They are from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set. Sorry the photo doesn’t really do them justice.
For my card, I created another flower using the above steps, layered the embossed Card onto a piece of Daffodil Delight CS& then to the Base Card – Whisper White. The leaves were created the same way as the crate.
I’m pretty happy with the end result even though the flowers were meant to be butterflies. A happy mistake in this instance.
Yep, the new catalogue is finally here and it is jam packed with lots of new goodies & ideas. You will love the new catalogue!
There is so much gorgeous product that I actually didn’t know where to start when I did my pre-orderAND I will say that my favourite item in the catalogue is the “Beachy Little Christmas” Stamp Set, Page19. I have lots of ideas in my head so now all I have to do is find the time to create them. Over the next week or so, I will be sharing with you some of those ideas I have managed to create.
