Project Life

I am starting up classes as from tonight.  They will be held on the first Friday night & the last Wednesday night of the month, so please contact me if you would like to come along.

Project Life is quick, fun & EASY!

We will be creating 2 x 6″ x 8″ pages both of which will have a section for your journaling & a space for your photo.  You can also change it to what you like & have 2 or 3 photos to your page.

This is the perfect time to make a start on all your photos sitting in boxes at home or even printing off a couple of your favourites by putting them into a scrapbook.

This month we will be playing with the lovely new “Lift Me Up” Bundle from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue AND the coordinating “Carried Away” DSP from the 2017 SAB Catalogue.

If you would like to attend, please contact me.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Project Life

Today’s post is another page of Project Life.  I am actually enjoying playing with Project Life – so very quick & easy.

When I saw “This Day” Project Life Mini card Collection from SAB 2015, I knew it would be perfect my niece’s 2nd birthday 007pl-blogphoto.  The cake is actually very similar colour to Coastal Cabana so that is what I went for.

I cut the “2” from a Number Die that I’ve had for years & adhered it to the “Happiness Is” Card from the SAB 2015 Project Life Collection.  The card has been left blank for Elaina’s mum to add a few lines or thoughts.

I selected the 2nd card to match the top card & also to pick up the colours in the photo.  I printed out “Elaina, 21 January 2015” using MDS, changed the font colour to Island Indigo & printed onto scrap Whisper White Card before punching with the “Ticket Duo Builder” Punch & adhering to the middle of a Banner created from Daffodil Delight Card.

I then adhered it to the centre of the Card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This page took me all of about 5 minutes.  The great thing about Project Life is you can add as much as you like to your page or as less as possible.  I am a clean scrapper, so I always go for the clean loo.

The Card Collections are really great for creating cards too!  Why not give it a go!!!!!

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Project Life

With I’ve been trying to get back into scrapbooking for a couple of months now & for some reason the motivation has not been there, so this morning I sat myself down, sorted through a couple of photos & decided that I was going to scrap 2 albums (I know, I don’t do things by halves) for Christmas – 1 for each of my 2 nieces for this year & give them as a Christmas present.

With this “idea” in mind, I decided that it was the perfect time to start using Project Life by Stampin’ Up!  Mind you, I have done a couple of these albums over the last few years but non-SU! & just by going what Becky Higgins was doing.  I used to 001plmake all my own stuff for the albums as I couldn’t get the product here.  So much easier when it is all done for you.

With my photo, Project Life Pocket Page, Everyday Adventure” Card Collections & Accessory Pack, I sat down & started playing with colours & patterns.  To begin with, I wanted to pick up the gorgeous colour of Elaina’s hair & found the perfect match from the Card Collections.

With only the 1 photo to pop onto the page, I decided that I would layer the photo onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock prior to layering onto 1 of the pattern cards, punched 3 small flowers using the “Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack” (Retired), popped 3 x small Pearls to the centre of each prior to adhering along the top of photo & popped it into a pocket – Easy!

I then printed “Capturing the” onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, stamped with an image from “Work of Art” in Melon Mambo & Daffodil Delight Inks prior to adhering a small Black Stripe Banner from the Accessory Pack over the top.  I printed “MOMENTS” onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock, cut it into a Banner Shape & popped it over the black stripe banner with a Stampin’ Dimensional prior to popping into a pocket.  Another done & dusted!

With the idea forming that I wasn’t going to do the journaling but leave a space for Danielle to it, I printed “January 2015” onto a matching Card & popped it into a pocket – How easy is this?

To complete the page, I popped a matching card into the final pocket!  Nothing to it!

Once I had decided on the colours, etc this page took me all of about 10 minutes.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
