Across the Waves Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Thank you & welcome to our monthly Across the Waves Blog Hop.  May is all about flowers & boy are there some lovely product in the new Annual Catalogue featuring flowers.

You may be starting with me or have come from Christy’s blog where she shared her lovely project.  Don’t forget you can visit all the other blogs on today’s hop by clicking on the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post.

I’ve been playing with the lovely Design a Daydream DSP from the new Catalogue.  It can be yours too when spending $250 or over.  I am loving the colours in these papers.  Looking at my card today, I’ve just realised that the image I’ve used is very close to the image in the Art Gallery Stamp Set which is what I’ve used to create my card.

I’ve teamed the paper with Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss & Petal Pink.

The 1/8″ Cottom Ribbon Combo Pack from the current Mini Catalogue is perfect for this project.

I’ve finished it off with the Pearls Basic Jewels.

Hand-Penned Petals

G’Day Friends,

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy, Safe & Heathy 2022!  Thank you so much for all your support during the year.  It has & is always very much appreciated.

Can you believe that the July-December Mini Catalogue is nearly over?  Don’t forget to grab your Last Chance Products before they are gone & gone forever.

Today’s card is one that I created some time ago but never got round to sharing with you.  It has been sitting in my basket but kept getting further & further to the back with more current projects.

I’ve used the lovely Hand-Penned Suite along with the fun Picture This Dies  to create my card.  Included in the Suite is the Hand-Penned  Petals Stamp Set, the Penned Flowers Dies, the gorgeous Hand-Penned DSP & of course the Genial Gems.

I love how you can achieve different looks with the Picture This Dies as all I’ve done is highlight the lovely DSP by die cutting a piece  with the dies & then popping 2 pieces back into the spaces in the Pool Party layer.  Easy Peasy!

The sentiment is from the Art Gallery Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White in Highland Heather which has then been die cut with the Picture This Dies.

The flower was stamped in Highland Heather & Mint Macaron Inks onto a scrap of Basic White, die cut with the matching die from the Penned Flowers Dies & popped up to the side of the sentiment shape with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished it off with a double bow from Basic White Twine which can be found in the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack.

Need supplies to create today’s project at home?  Don’t forget to use December’s Host Code – N4ABBA4T –  if your order is under $250

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Happy Stamping!

Brilliant Wings

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  It is always very much appreciated.

I created my card today for a challenge but of course, promptly forgot to post it before the challenge closed, but I thought I would share it anyhow.

I’ve just rediscovered the gorgeous & oh so rich Rainbow Glimmer Paper along with the Artistry Blooms Sequins.  Once again both items are fast turing into my favourites.

The butterfly has been die cut from the same Glimmer Paper with the Brilliant Wings Dies before being adhered to a Basic White circle.

The sentiment is from the Art Gallery Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, trimmed back to size & shape prior to being adhering to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Klyie’s International Blog Hop November

G’Day Friends,

Today I am hopping along with Kylie’s International Blog Hop for November.  This is a hop where Demonstrators from all around the world chose to take part highlighting all our lovely product.  If this is the first time visiting my blog, thank you so much for dropping by.

You are able to vote for my card Here or by clicking on the photo below.

Thank You is our theme for the hop.  Many of us don’t take the time to thank the ones we love or care about.  It can be the simple things that they do for us each day or big things that they have done recently.  It is so important to say thank you and show our appreciation for the hard work of others and the kindness that they show.

I love creating this type of card & posting them off in the mail or leaving them in my neighbours letterboxes.  Do you know of anyone you can this type of card to?  I’m sure they would appreciate it.

I decided to dig out an older stamp set – Forever Blossoms & create a simple & easy card.  Sometimes these are the best & we forget to create them.I used the gorgeous Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder, along with Flirty Flamingo & Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  The flower was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink along with the sentiment which is from the Art Gallery Stamp Set.

The image was then die cut with the mataching die from Cherry Blossoms Dies & adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To complete the card, I tied a small bow with the lovely Pool Party Sheer Ribbon, added Pearls to the centre of the flowers & randomly to the card front.

Don’t forget to click HERE to vote for me.  I would really apreciate it!
