Happy Birthday

Bruschs---Detailed-Dragonfl

G’Day Stampers,

It’s been awhile, but I’m happy to say that Technique Tuesday is back again this year.

We’re playing with Brushos today & showing you a basic way of using them.  Mind you, you will still have a fantastic result just the same.  Remember, if you don’t have the product I’ve used on my card, use what you have on hand.

This is one of the cards we created a couple of weeks ago in our class.  The ladies loved playing with them especially when they saw how the powders reacted to water & how everyone’s card turned out very different.  Have you tried them yet?Basic-Sponging---4-per-page

There is a little change this year in that they may only appear the 4th Tuesday of the month.  Yes, you will still receive the instructions for a card using the technique.  The Technique Tutorial is available for download by clicking on the Free Technique Tutorials Page, file in a folder & keep on hand to use or to refer back to at a later date.

Yes, SU! Demos are able to use them for your classes, workshops & demonstrations.  It just means that all the work is done for you, except of course your samples.

May Your Sorrow…

… be eased by Wonderful Memories

Birthday-Blooms---Close-Up

I created this card for a friend of mine lost her brother in a fishing accident a couple of weeks ago.  They are not the best cards to create but we do have to do them sometimes.

I’ve used the new Stampin’ Blends – Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive to colour my flower & leaves.  The image is from the lovely Birthday Blooms Stamp Set.

The image has been stamped onto a piece of Whisper White CS in Memento Tuxedo Black, coloured with the Stampin’ Blends & layered to a piece of Basic Black CS before being adhered to the Base Card – Whisper White, which is in fact a Note Card.

The sentiment is from Better Together & has been stamped onto a scrap piece of Whisper White in Memento Tuxedo Black, punched either end with the Banner Triple Punch before being adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The card was completed by randomly adhering small Pearl Basic Jewels to the Card Front.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Technique Tuesday

You've-Got-This---Close-Up

G’Day Stampers,

It is Tuesday & that means a new technique for you to download & play with.  Remember, if you don’t have the product I’ve used on my card, use what you have on hand.  This week we are highlighting Bleaching.  What I love about this technique is that it is always changing.  My card has changed a lot since I first created it & not every petal is the same.

This is one of the cards we created a couple of weeks ago in our class.  I am happy to say the ladies loved it.  They also enjoyed playing with the technique too…..  I keep forgetting to take photos to share with you as their cards turned out beautiful.

These techniques appear on my blog every 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month, along Technique-Layoutwith instructions for a card using the technique.
