2014…

… is fast approaching & with the new year comes the thoughts of new calendars.  Today’s share is just that – a 2014 calendar!!!!!

I originally created a couple of calendars for the Handmade Expo 2 weeks ago just to see how the reaction would be & to see if people would actually be interested.  Much to my surprise, they flew off the table.

I don’t have a tutorial for you today, as they were a last minute thought.  Thinking that they would not sell, I had all intentions of doing a Tutorial once I got home.  However, in saying that, I will have one up & running in the next couple of weeks for you.

Everything Eleanor….

… was the stamp set we used way back in March for one of our Technique Classes – “Heat & Stick“.

As is the case with our Technique Class, we try & create a card that has a different fold.  Our card for this class was the “Box Card”.  I love how this turned out & surprise, surprise very easy to create.  I did originally see this card from Valita’s Blog.  From memory, I think I sort of adjusted the measurements to suit what I wanted to do.

Some of the products used to create our card have since been retired, but they can easily be replaced with current products.

CD Cases….

As promised, today’s post is another CD Case for the Expo.  Much to my delight & surprise the CD Cases sold within about 15m of each other.  I now have to stock up on more of these.  I don’t create a lot of them at once as I like to do them to suit the customers personality & colours she likes.

TSSC 255…

What a lovely & unexpected surprise when I went to check on the challenge Mary Jo has for this week.  My card (click on this link) was one of the Top 3 picks for the last chllenge.  Thanks so much Mary Jo.

I’ve managed to create another card using the great sketch Mary Jo has going.  In fact it come in very handy as I am in the middle of designing a couple of cards for our Tecnique Class this Sunday.  Thanks again Mary Jo, much appreciated!  Be sure to pop on over & join in this fun challenge.

I’ve used the fun Technique – Heat & Stick & the lovely Stamp Set – Everything Eleanor on the flowers for this card.  I did make a little change as to where I placed my Pearls.  I wasn’t entirely happy with where I had them – as per the sketch, so hope they won’t mind.

I’ve again left the front of the card blank with no sentiment or greeting.  I do this a lot with my cards as I find it a lot easier to send to people.  If you wanted to add a sentiment/greeting, then there is still room for one to be added.

The instructions for this card won’t be posted until AFTER we have finished our Technique Class, so be sure to check back if you need them.
