G’Day Stampers,

Today I am sharing with you one of the cards we created in our class last Friday where we played with the gorgeous Petal Promenade DSP in a slightly different way.   I love this DSP but sadly it will be retiring 3 June so you had better grab your packet before it does.Petal-Promenade-Dress---Ins

We also got to play one last time with the lovely Fresh Fig which will also be retiring at the end of May.  I’m happy to say that I don’t have much of either the DSP or Cardstock left in my stash.

The template for this dress I have had for about 15 years & am not sure where it originally come from.  I do bring it out every now & then for a play & each time I use it, I don’t understand why I don’t do more of them.

My card today is one I created for the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches but completely forgot to post it so I am sharing it with you today.  Do you ever do that?

For my card I decided to pull out the lovely Tropical Chic Stamp Set.  Of course I had to Tropical-Chic---Insidecreate using the lovely Tropical Escape DSP along with the fantastic Tropical Thinlits which both match the Stamp Set.  The stamp Set & Dies are available as a Bundle which means you get to save 10%.

Baby-Wipe---Close-Up

Today I am sharing with you our 2nd card we created in class a couple of weeks ago using the Baby Wipe Technique, but this time we created a background using the wipes a different way.

For our card we used the large Dragonfly from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits which was Baby-Wipes---Insidedie cut in Night of Navy & heat embossed with Clear Emboss Powder.  I think it gives it more depth & highlights the detail.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set.

The background was stamped using images from the Timeless Texture Stamp Set.
