Peaceful Deer

G’Day Friends,

I can’t believe that I’ve made it to Day 8 of my #30daysofchristmascards challenge I set myself.  I will say that I am enjoying the challenge even though they are fairly easy & simple to create, but that is what we want sometime.

You can check all the previous days over on my FB Page.

Today’s card has been created with the lovely Peaceful Deer Stamp Set.  It’s been teamed up with the Pretty Prints DSP from the Annual Catalogue.  I love it when we can use alternative DSP for all occasions, especially Christmas.

The base card is Soft Sea Foam which the Inks are Early Espresso & Garden Green.  The tag is from the Tailor Made Tags Dies.

If you live in Australia, click on the photo below to purchase this Bundle.  Don’t forget to use the November Host Code – 6ZVJGYMC  –  if your order is under $250.

Peaceful Deer

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for dropping by today.  It is always very much appreciated.

I’m a little late in posting today but as they ol’ saying goes “Better late than never!”

I thought I would share this simpe & yet elegant Christms Card I quickly created the other day.  A friend wanted some cards to send out in blues but only 2 designs.  You can see the first design here.

A piece of retired Glimmer Paper was adhere down the left side of a piece of Basic White Cardstock before being adhered to a Night of Navy Base Card.

I die cut a tree from the Christms Trees Dies in Night of Navy Cardstock piror to adhering to the middle of the Card Front.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White Cardstock in Night of Navy Ink, trimmed back to size & shape before being adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete the card I adhered 3 of the Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems to the Card Front.

You couldn’t ask for a more simple & easy card, could you?

Once again, this type of Christmas Card that can be easily recreated for a large number of your friends.

Peaceful Deer

G’Day Friends,

Today’s card is the 2nd one I created from Monday.  You can find all the details by clicking HERE.

Now the 1st card was aimed at the males but this card is for the females AND both created with the 1 small piece of DSP & changing out the Cardstock colours & images.

I’ve still gone with the Peaceful Deer Bundle from the current July-December Mini Catalogue added Merry Merlot & Blusing Bride Cardstock.  I have also rotated it to Portrait.

A square piece of now retired Sale-a-Bration DSP has been randomly chopped into 2 pieces.  The 1st piece has been used on the top card while the 2nd piece is used on today’s card.  As this paper is no longer available, you can always change it to what you have in your stash.

The sentiment has been stamped direct onto a piece of Basic White in Merry Merlot Ink prior to being adhered to a layer of Blushing Bride Cardstock & then to the Merry Merlot Base Card.

The snowflake is from the pack of Wonderful Snowflakes which is in the current Mini Catalogue.  The deer was stamped onto Basic White Cardstock with Crumb Cake Ink, punched with the Deer Builder Punch & adhered over the top of the snowflake with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The card was finished off with Elegant Faceted Gems randomly adhered to the card front.

Need supplies to create today’s project at home?  Don’t forget to use December’s Host Code – N4ABBA4T –  if your order is under $250.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Merry Christmas

G’Day Friends,

I thought I would share this simpe & elegant Christms Card I quickly created the other day for a friend.

A piece of Night of Navy was embossed with the now retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder before being adhered to a Thick Basic White Base Card.

The poinsettia has been die cut from Basic White Cardstock with the Poinsettia Dies before being layered onto each other & adhered to the Card Front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I must admit I haven’t used these Dies in some time but think they are perfect for this card, don’t you?

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White Cardstock in Night of Navy Ink, trimmed back to size before being adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete the card I adhered 3 x Pearls to the centre of the Poinsettia & then randomly to the card front.

I think this is the type of Christmas Card that can be easily recreated for a large number of your friends.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Happy Stamping!

Peaceful Deer meets Manly Monday

G’Day Friends,

Thanks so much for dropping by today.  It is always very much appreciated.

December Stamp & Card Club is now open for Registration.   To subscribe, click HERE, the link below or on the photo.  We would love for you to be part of this fun club.

I’ve created something a little different for the males in our lives today.  The males still need Christmas Cards & that is what I’ve created for you wth the Peaceful Deer Bundle from the current July-December Mini Catalogue.

I randomly chopped a square of DSP into 2 pieces & used 1 of the pieces to create my cardtoday.  The DSP was from Sale-a-Bration which means it is no longer available but you could always change it up to what you have in your stash.

The sentiment was stamped onto Basic White with Cherry Cobbler Ink, adhered to a Crumb Cake layer before being adhered to a Basic Black Card Base.

The snowflake is from the pack of Wonderful Snowflakes which is in the current Mini Catalogue.  The deer was stamped onto Basic White Cardstock, punched with the Deer Builder Punch & adhered over the top of the snowflake with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The card was finished off with Matt Black Dots being randomly adhered to the Card Front.

Need supplies to recreate this project at home?  Jump onto my Online Stampin’ Up! Store or click on the photo below to add all the items required to complete this project or just pick & chose what you would like to the shopping cart.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Peaceful Deer

G’Day Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created when I first received my pre-order for the new July-December Mini Catalogue.   It’s called Peaceful Deer AND there is matching DSP in the 2nd lot of Sale-a-Bration which could be yours when spending $90 or over.

I’ve adhered a piece of the lovely DSP to a piece of Basic White Cardstock & then to a Basic Black Base Card prior to die cutting a shape in the front with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I adhered a snowflake to the bottom left of the shape prior to adhering a punched deer t the top which was punched with the matching Deer Builder Punch.

The sentiment is from the same Stamp Set & was stamped inside the shape in Real Red Ink.

To finish the card, I tied a small bow from Basic White Baker’s Twine, adhered it to the deer’s neck with a Mini Glue Dot & randomly added 3 Clear Rhinestones to the inside of the card.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Peaceful Deer

G’Day Friends,

Today I am sharing a small tag that I’ve created by casing the project from Page 9 of the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue.

Of course as most times, they sort of take a different spin & turn into their own which is exactly what this tag has done – sort of!

I’ve used the Peaceful Deer Bundle from the July-December Mini Catalogue along with the Peaceful Prints DSP from Sale-a-Bration which is FREE when you place an order of $90 or more excluding P&H.

After blending Crumb Cake around the edges of a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock with a Blending Brush, I then flicked Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker over the top to give a little more depth & interest.

Be sure to check out the card I created from my tag which I will share on Thursday along with a PDF Tutorial for you to create your own.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
