Today is one of the prototypes I created testing the waters. I was so happy that it worked lol.

Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle Colour Combination 3

G’Day Friends,

Can you believe this is our last day for sharing inspiration with you for our Colour Combination this week? Now, where did that time go?

Night of Night & Coastal Cabana shout Ocean to me. So along with Grey Granite that can be the colour of water washed logs fits in perfectly. It is one of the reasons why I decided to go with the cute little Sea Turtle Stamp Set.

In actual fact, we had one beach itself last week. It was huge & looked very healthy from the outside but you can never tell what is going on in the inside. We hung around until the Turtle Rescue mob arrived. They are going to let me know when it will be released so that should be exciting to see.

This set is “Reversible” which means that one side is solid while the other is the actual stamp. I haven’t used the soild/backround images. I’ve only stamped the outline images.

The card is very clean & simple but I think it suits the card as I wanted the Turtle to be the star of the show.

July Stamp n’ Hop Blog Hop with Zoo Crew DSP

I cheated a little bit today as I’ve gone with the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper. Have you seen it? It’s full of gorgeous little fun animals who are doing all sorts of fun things. I went with the cute little moose ballerina.

The tags have been die cut with the Something Fancy Dies with Basic White & Lemon Lolly Cardstock before a piece of the Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon was threaded through the top & a small bow tied in place.

The sentiment is from the Something Fancy Stamp Set, stamped direct onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock, die cut with the shape from the Something Fancy Dies before being adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The card was finished off with 3 x Lemon Lime Twist Tinsel Gems.

Look at that cute Ladybug? I decided to make her/him look a little different so the body is Bluberry Bushel while the wings are Lemon Lime Twist with touches of Blueberry Bushel Ink.

It’s Day 3 of showcasing the Tropical Leaf Bundle. So many ideas with this Bundle & perfect for males in your lives.

Today’s card is actually the 1st one I created with this Bundle. I wasn’t too sure where it was heading as I created my own DSP by randomly stamping the small leaf onto Very Vanilla Cardstock with Old Olive Ink prior to randomly chopping into 3 strips.

The pieces were adhered to a piece of Wild Wheat Cardstock before being adhered to a layer of Very Vanilla & then to a Blackberry Bliss Base Card.

The sentiment is from the Something Fancy Stamp Set, die cut with the Something fancy Dies & stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink.

It was finished off with a couple of the Rustic Metallic Dots.

The colours are a little out of my comfort zone but hey that can be a good thing sometimes.
