Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop

G’Day Stampers,

Thank you for joining me today as I am once again playing along with the February February-2019---LoveStamp ‘N Hop blog hop.

We are a group of SU! Demos from all over the world sharing their love of Stampin’ Up! You are able to join us if you like, but we do ask that you are a current SU! Demo & that you use current SU! products.

You may have arrived from Mo’s blog where I’m sure you would have seen her fantastic project.

Sunshine-Wishes---InsideThis month is all about “LOVE”.

I don’t do Valentines so I thought I would try & create a “love” card for the male in your life.

I decided to work with product that hasn’t been off the shelf for sometime so I went with Sunshine Wishes Framelits, Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set & of course my favourite Brushos.

I’m happy with how it turned out.  Not too feminine but not too manly.  In fact you could probably use it for either male or female.  Mind you, it could easily be turned into a Valentine’s card by changing out the sentiment.

Thanks again for visiting my blog. Next up is Jenna.  All you need to do is click the NEXT arrow below the photo.

In the event that you get lost, there is a Roll Call of everyone playing along.  All you have to do is click on the names & you will be taken to their blog.

Day 11 – Animal Expedition

Animal-Expediation---Close-

Today is Day 11 & welcome to the fun Animal Expedition DSP.  This paper suits everyone from babies, boys, girls through to males & females.  I do hope you are enjoying seeing all the different ways of cutting your gorgeous DSP!

If you want to go back to Day 1 where I played with the Petal Promenade DSP,Animal Expedition - 19.25 be sure to click here.  All the cards have tutorials to go with them.  There are a few days left for the “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” DSP Promotion.

I teamed the card with Crumb Cake, Whisper White & Shaded Spruce Cardstock.  The sentiment from Sunshine Sayings has been stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink.

Stampin’ Up! take a lot of the guess work out of matching the DSP colours to Cardstock as they are listed with the name of the DSP.  Don’t you just love that?

Tomorrow will see yet another card using the same DSP so be sure to check back.

By clicking on the link below, you will be able to download your free tutorial to create your own card.  The tutorial includes a list of supplies & measurements (metric & imperial).

Happy Birthday

A couple of weeks ago I created 2 cards using the fun “Bike Ride” Bundle.  Well today I amBike-Ride---Iside showing you the 3rd card created using basically the same supplies, colours & layout.  The differences being I’ve used Chocolate Chip as my Base Card, Embossing Paste & Crumb Cake & Chocolate Chip Ink Re-Fills along with Sunshine Sayings for my greeting.

To achieve my “footpath”,  I added a 3 small amounts of Embossing Paste onto the Silicone Craft Sheet, added a very tiny drop of Crumb Cake & Chocolate Chip Ink Refills to 2 of the amounts but not really mixing them.

I placed the “Brick” Decorative Mask to the bottom part of a piece of Whisper White Card, Bike-Ride---Embossing-Pasteapplied the White Embossing Paste followed by the Crumb Cake & then the Chocolate Chip to the Mask.  I found doing it this way, I had a more of a distinctive look with the colours.

The “Happy Birthday” was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White CS, punched with the Classic Label Punch & adhered behind the bike to look like a “flag”.

I’m finding this Bundle lots of fun with lots of ideas popping into my head as I create my cards.
