I am loving this set from the current SAB and have used it yet again in today’s card.
The sketch is from Techostamper and is a Blog Hop. This means you can click on anyone’s card & you will be taken directly to their blog.
For my card I decided to use the “DSP – Love Letter” along with stamp set “Bliss”
Basecard – Riding Hood Red – 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ or 15cm x 15cm Layer 1 – DSP – Love Letter – 5 5/8″ x 5 5/8″ or 14.5cm x 14.5cm Layer 2 – Riding Hood Red – 5″ x 2 1/4″ or 13cm x 6cm Layer 3 – DSP – Love Letter – 4 7/8″ x 2 1/8″ or 12.5cm x 5.5cm Layer 4 – Riding Hood Red – 3″ x 3″ or 8cm x 8cm Layer 5 – DSP – Love Letter – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ or 7.5cm x 7.5cm Layer 6 – Very Vanilla – 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ or 7cm x 7cm
I stamped the image onto Very Vanilla Cardstock using Basic Black Ink. I then stamped the flower images using Riding Hood Red Ink. I also stamped the word “Bliss” using Riding Hood Red Ink.
After layering the card, I applied Basic Pearls to the middle of the flowers. I tied a bow using the Crochet Trim and adhered it to the card.
All in all a very easy sketech & a very easy card.
Supplies – Stamp Set – Bliss* Inks – Basic Black, Riding Hood Red Cardstock – Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla DSP – Love Letters Ribbon – Crochet Trim – Chantilly** Accessories – Snail Adhesive, Basic Pearls
I have finally managed to use a Stamp Set from the current Sale-a-Bration and of course I took the sketch from the fun challenge over at Stamping 411
Layer One – Cardbase – Cardstock cut at 5.5 x 8.5″, scored & folded
Layer Two – 4 x 5.25″
Layer Three – 1.5 x 4.5″
Layer Four – 1.25 x 4.25″
Layer Five – 2.5 x 3.5″
Layer Six – 2.5 x 3.25″
For my card, I used Soft Sude Cardstock for the base. Layered it with Elegant Soiree DSP. I then layered the same DSP over Baja Breeze. I stamped my images in Soft Suede Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. Prior to stamping the bird images, I stamped off twice & then randomly stamped images over card. I layered this onto Baja Breeze Cardstock. I adhered Crochet Trim – Chantilly along the bottom of Very Vanilla Cardstock prior to adhering to card. I stamped 3 butterfly images in Baja Breeze, adhered Basic Pearls to the middle of the butterflies & then adhered these randomly to the card.
This is my very first Valentine’s card! New stamp set arrived today!
I had told myself that I wasn’t going to purchase any valentine stamp sets, but when I saw this lovely set in the current Mini, that thought went out the window. This set is just so cute, but the best thing I like about it is that it is a very fine set & not overbearing!

I’ve just realised that I haven’t quiet finished my card according to the sketch, but hey I don’t really think that it matters. The majority of the card is as per the sketch. If I get time, I may attempt to have another go. Sorry Mary Jo!

I hope you all had a great Christmas, despite the floods in Qld & the snow in parts of USA & Europe. To think that Perth has Bush Fires!
Today’s card is from the sketch over at Stamping 411 and as usual a great one to use in creating a card or project.
For my card, I used supplies from the current Summer Mini Catalogue. I cut my Cardstock – So Saffron and adhered Regal Rose to the top of it. I then cut a piece of DSP – Island Oasis – to adhere to the top of Regal Rose.
Using my Scallop Trim Punch, I punched both top & bottom of the Tempting Turquoise Cardstock and adhered a piece of So Saffron across the middle of it.
I then stamped the sentiment from “Cheers to You” in Chocolate Chip directly onto the So Saffron. Inking the branch in Old Olive from the Stamp Set “Tropical Party”, I stamped a couple of random images directly onto the So Saffron.
I inked the coconut from the same Stamp Set, coloured the umbrella & straw using my Watercolour Pencils, cut around the image & adhered over the top of the branches using SU® Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp Set – Cheers to You, Tropical Party*
Inks – Chocolate Chip, Old Olive
Cardstock – Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, Rose Red
The following cards have been created using products from the new Mini-Catalogue, so sit back, relax & enjoy!
Using the Scallop Square punch, I punched squares in Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie and Rose Red. I applied Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back so that they would sit up away from the DSP – Island Oasis. This way they are not lost in the background.
I stamped Whisper White cardstock with the leaf, using Old Olive. I punched these out using the 1 1/4″ square punch and adhered to the Scallop Square punch.
For the flower, I stamped the image in Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise & cut out using SU® Paper Snips. I then adhered to them to the corner of the squares.
